Ancestry: Octopian
Octopians are a proud yet unpredictable folk who dwell in warm seas and oceans. They are a relatively small yet impressive tribespeople that roam and hunt in the depths, sometimes claiming permanent settlements in places of beauty or places abandoned for one reason or another, such as a shipwreck.
Octopians have a divisive relationship with krakens. Some tribes view them as ancient gods of the sea, while others consider them ugly compared to themselves- despite their similar physiology- and overly tyrannical.
Octopians have the upper torso of a humanoid with the lower half of an octopus or related creature. Their upper halves typically resemble coastal land-dwelling folk, but their skin shares the more soft, rubbery texture of their lower halves. Octopian skin tones are very pale blues, greys, or pinks. Their hair is either stark white, blue, or black. Generally their eyes are dark colors.
The Octopian's lower half is a mass of eight tentacles, typically either identical in coloration to the rest of their skin or in vibrant blues, purples, and reds. They might also have patterns that resemble certain kinds of octopi.
