Ancestry: Lepid

Lurking the city streets at night, fluttering in the shadows along trade routes, and glowing in the dark are apt descriptions of the Lepid. The Lepid hang around populated or well-traveled places to conduct their trickery, flocking to places with light knowing there'll be people there to inspire awe or terror- all in good fun of course.

Lepids appear as humanoids with moth or butterfly features and short fur. They have either blank moth wings or colorful, extravagant butterfly wings in any pattern or color. Their eyes are black, and the fur on their bodies is either grey or black. Finally, they have a pair of antennae, which moves in accordance with their emotions.

Hertiage: Lightseeker

The more vaguely threatening but still relatively passive Lepids are the Lightseekers. Lightseekers live in the shadowy areas of the world, becoming the stuff of legend for their odd appearance and their ominous lurking. Despite what is said of them, the Lightseekers are as varied in their motives as any. They might enjoy causing fear with nothing but their silhouette in the shadows, or perhaps despite it. Others might simply just be minding their own business, while others are afraid of them for nothing.

The Lightseeker Lepid appear more moth-like, with grey or white fur and plain wings, but bigger antennae.

Heritage: Prismawing

The Prismawing Lepids are the playful and often beautiful Lepids. They enjoy showing off and expressing themselves in any way they can, always finding ways to surprise others to their mutual entertainment. However, despite their often beautiful appearance, the Prismawing aren't above using their charming beauty as a weapon.

A Prismawing's fur and wings can be of any color and pattern, but often look mildly similar to a face. Typically they have bright, highly contrasting colors and patterns, most commonly in shades of oranges, reds, and yellows.

Enchanting Colors. You can cast the Charm Person spell as a 1st level spell, requiring no material components. You must finish a short or long rest to cast this spell again with this trait. Constitution is your spellcasting ability for this spell.

Prismatic Performer. You have proficiency in the Performance skill.
