It has 6 subclasses (Ancestors, Battle, Bones, Cosmos, Fate, and Life) and 10 Curses (Charred, Clouded, Deafened, Haunted, Legalistic, Marbled, Pranked, Psychosis, Submerged, Scourge). - Subsequently, the Oracle Spell List was added to the Rules of Magic. - Added subclasses to **Monk**: Drunken Master, Kensei, and Mercy - Clarified the wording on certain **Paladin** subclass abilities. - Added the Skyrite spell to the **Rules of Magic** in preparation for Oracle. Readded the Banishing Smite and Infernal Calling spells to the **Rules of Magic**. Added the Summon Demon spell to the **Rules of Magic**, a custom combination of Summon Lesser Demon and Summon Greater Demon - Added the Mental Prison spell to the **Rules of Magic.** Its damage upon a creature leaving its zone was slightly reduced. ##### 10/31/24 - Added ancestries: **Minotaur** and **Ratfolk.** - Added the Oxen **language**. It's spoken by Minotaur and cows. - Added the Squeak **language**. It's spoken by Ratfolk and mice. - The **Carved** now actually get languages. ##### 11/01/24 - Fixed some typos in **Magic Items** - Changed some wordings on the Dying **Condition**. Attacks don't auto-crit, but the DM can also decide whether certain abilities that would normally end upon falling unconscious also end when Dying. - Added **Smokepowder Weapons**, renaissance firearms and explosives. - Added a blurb both for Smokepowder weapons and Exotic weapons about them not being allowed in all games, as was intended - Changed the language of the Hamstring Shot **Weapon Action** so that it's more in-line with similar abilities. \columnbreak ##### 11/02/24 - Added a brief description of each School of Magic to the **Rules of Magic**. - Fixed some typos and formatting errors across all **Classes**. - Notably the "Spells Per Level" text was added to every spellcasting class that lacked it, and spells given by subclasses and class features (such as Domain spells) are italicized. - All **Classes** (including unreleased ones) now have an associated color to be more in line with newer content. - Changed the color of that single noteblock and the tables for the **Rules of Magic.** - On **Bard**, Magical Secrets was renamed to Spell Songs for thematic reasons. - All Conditions, Damage Types, and Schools of Magic on the **Rules of Magic** are properly capitalized. ##### 11/4/24 - Added ancestry: **Oculos** - Added **Fighter** subclasses: Brute, Cavalier, and Psi Warrior. - Buffed the Champion **Fighter's** Empowered Maneuvers, increasing the size of their superiority dice to d12 at 18th level. - Added features to **Twinned Ancestry** for Minotaur, Ratfolk, and Oculos ##### 11/06/24 - Added the **Hobgoblin** uncommon ancestry - Buffed the following Psionic Talents on the **Mystic**: Aerial Recovery, Strained Thoughts - Nerfed the following Psionic Talents on the **Mystic**: Desperate Brainstorm, Eyes of Regret, Forced Adrenaline, Mind Blast. - Added a stipulation to the Aspect of Curiosity on **Mystic** that creatures won't move somewhere obviously dangerous. - Dream Eater on **Mystic** now grants 2 Mystic Energy die, and reduces the target's highest ability score instead of dealing damage. - Changed Psychic Tripwire on **Mystic** to be a 1 minute aura as an action, and now deals slightly more damage. - Empathic Sense on **Mystic** no longer tells you whether creatures are lying. - Heartfelt Aura on **Mystic** now grants both its effects instead of one. - Mental Adversary on **Mystic** now can only be used a limited amount of times. - Fixed some weird wordings on Mystic. - Removed Consumptive Power from **Mystic**. It was replaced with Mystic Siphon, which was moved from 13th level to 10th. - Reserved Strength and Perfected Mind swapped places on **Mystic**. - The **Mystic's** Extra Attack feature was replaced with Mystic Recovery, which lets you regain mystic energy dice. - The **Mystic's** Yoink subclass feature was moved to 14th level, and Twinned Trickster was reworked into a new 18th level feature. \pagebreakNum - The **Mystic's** Brain Blast and Controlled Chaos were merged into a single 14th level ability. The new 18th level ability allows you to just... cause all the Mystic Chaos effects on a creature at once. - The **Mystic's** Kinetic Shove's alternative effect now has a range of 120ft, and also deals damage to the object being launched. - The **Mystic's** Propelled Strike now also allows knockback. - Wormhole step on both **Elf** and **Twinned Lineage** was buffed to 30ft. - Sensate **Gnomes** now gain Perception proficiency. - Lightfoot **Halflings** now gain Stealth proficiency. - **Halflings** gain Darkvision. - **Human's** Human Versatility now increases carry weight by 1/2 instead of 1/4. - **Superior Human** now has Powerful Build. - The radius of **Lupin's** Rallying Howl was halved, and it recharges on a long rest instead of a short rest. - **Lupin's** Khenra Twin now grants a +1 to rolls instead of advantage. - Removed Incredible Smell from **Lupin** for balancing reasons. - Civildog **Lupin** now also gets Human's Civil Militia feature. - Icespawn **Tiefling** now get Ice Knife instead of False Life. - **Firbolg's** Fey Trickery feature was reverted to Fade Away. - Buffed **Kitsune's** Foxfire. - The **Carved** now gets its Unseen Assassin more times per rest, and a +1 bonus to AC. - Removed the reference to the Fairy table on the Fairy doc - Increased the range of the Net **Weapon** to 15/30 ##### 11/08/24 - **Kitsune's** Kitsune Trickery feature was simplified. - **Kitsune's** Foxfire ability was changed. It now gives you a limited use natural weapon that deals minor fire damage. ##### 11/9/24 - Added ancestries: **Aviana**, **Axol**, **Lepid** - Added the **Archfey** prestige anestry. - The Earth **Genasi's** Elemental Power was changed. It now gives Ensnaring Strike and Spike Growth instead of Levitate and Gust of Wind. - Nerfed the amount of healing Hobgoblin's Gift of Reciprocity grants, but made it easier to regain use of it. ##### 11/10/24 - Added two heritages to **Axol** by request, the Lake Axol and Cave Axol - Added the Living Rifle subclass to **Artificer**. For balancing reasons, it grants Force damage for their breath weapon damage type and possible damage resistance instead of Psychic damage (which the purple dragon creature resists/is immune to). - Added the Sword Burst **spell**. - Added some helpful links for certain class' optional resources on the **home page** (maneuvers, eldritch invocations, etc.), as well as an additional one for the Wild Magic Surge table. - The **Dragonborn's** Draconic Ancestry feature was reworded for clarity. Its name was also changed to Draconic Ancestor, given the word "Ancestry" replaced "Race" in p5.5. - Fixed some links on **Oracle,** **Sorcerer,** and **Warlock** that weren't working properly. - The Fire Bolt **spell** now properly has the "At Higher Levels" text displayed. - The Catapult **spell** is now properly listed as a 1st level spell on spell lists.

- Added the Barrage of the Ancients, Giant Strike, and Warrior's Fury **Fighter Maneuvers**, some more high-level Maneuvers to better match some of the higher level spells available to spellcasters. - The Farlander Whip Exotic **Weapon** now has the Grappling Strike Weapon Action (wow that was a lot of capitalized terms). - Clarified some wordings on a few **Weapon Actions**, namely Morph, Tenacity, and Weakening Strike. - Removed some redundant text from the Grappling Strike **Weapon Action**. - Removed references to Exotic weapons on the **Weapons** doc that no longer exist. - Some of Psi Warrior **Fighter's** maneuvers now properly expend superiority dice. - Renamed the Eldritch Knight **Fighter's** Weakening Strike maneuver to Enervating Strike to differentiate it from the Weapon Action of the same name. - Fixed the wording of the Hail of Arrows **Fighter maneuver**. It now properly centers on where your attack lands, instead of somewhere random within your weapon's range. - Fixed some errors on the **Mystic** class table, including typos, features being gained later than they should've, and removing references to features that were removed. - Changed the layout of page 4 on the **Mystic** doc so that the Amped Talents feature is more visible.

- Reorganized the **DMG** section a bit. The Magical Curiosities section was created with the Magic Items and Secret Spells subcategories. - Subsequently, all magic item and spell related links and roadmap placeholders were moved to this section (excluding Epic Levels & Epic Spells, which remains in the Miscellaneous Goodies section). - Added the **Graviturgy** spell list to the Magical Curiosities section of the DMG. ##### 12/2/24 - Added ancestries: **Hadozee**, **Triton** - Added a tiny bit of extra description to the **Yuan-Ti Ophidianite** heritage. ##### 12/3/24 - Added a note on how GM Binder does its links and how to fix issues with them to the **Home Page**. - Added the Genie and Hexblade **Warlock** subclasses. - The **Paladin's** Lay on Hands was reworded to fit the new way Diseases function. - The **Monk's** Physician's Touch was reworded to fit the new way Diseases function. - The Contagion, Lesser Restoration, Heal, and Mass Heal **spells** were reworded to fit the new way Diseases function. \pagebreakNum ##### 12/4/24 - Added options for purple dragons for Draconic Bloodline **Sorcerer**, Hoarded **Warlock**, and **Half-Dragon's** Ancient Dragon Prestige option. Like the addition to **Dragonborn**, for balancing reasons, these options grants Force damage for their breath weapon damage type and possible damage resistance instead of Psychic damage (which the purple dragon creature resists/is immune to). For Sorcerer, the spell they receive with a purple dragon ancestor is Catapult. - Finally added the Heartfelt **Barbarian** subclass which was accidentally added in an unfinished state multiple times. - Added a Prestige option to **Half-Dragon** to let you add it to a different ancestry after character creation. - All **classes** now properly have the Feat feature instead of the Ability Score Improvement feature. ASI is still a Feat that can be taken multiple times, but can't be taken at 1st level. - The link to **Half-Dragon** on the Home Page now properly has the superscript P to signify it has a Prestige Option. - Spells on the Draconic **Sorcerer's** draconic ancestry feature were italicized to fit the standard. - The Ability Score Improvement **Feat** now properly requires you to be 4th level or higher to take it. I looked back on it, and decided that between the 2014 DMG and the 2024 DMG, random cities and random dungeons are pretty well-covered. -Tentatively removed the **Item Design**, **Random loot**, and **Random NPCs** sections from the DMG Roadmap. I'm not really sure what I would've said in these docs, but if I have ideas on what to write, I'll add them back.

- The **Monster Manual** was split into two main categories: Wildlife and Sample Organizations. The former has subcategories for every creature type (except Humanoid). The latter is mostly centered around humanoids, and currently includes 2 subcategories with short descriptions, but not any statblocks or lore yet: the Order of the Black Rose and The Undying Evil. Each organization includes the rough player level range they are meant to be used with. ##### 12/11/24 - The UI of all sections of the **Home Page** was upgraded to dropdown menus.
