# Ancestry: Lupin
___ Lupin are canine humanoids known for their dedication and loyalty, both to themselves and others. Lupin are humble protectors and intelligent crafters, seeking to directly better the world with their skills, but not always knowing how. They often integrate into most societies across the world with ease alongside their immediate families, which usually consist of four to six individuals. While the true origin of the Lupin remains unknown, some theorize that they were originally created through the union of Humans and Gnolls, whom developed into their own people over many generations. Early Lupins turned to werewolf hunting to prove to fearful human neighbors that they indeed were not werewolves themselves. Over time, this hunting became tradition, becoming a rite of passage for young Lupin to learn to hunt, even for those who have lived in cities their whole lives. ___ Lupin appear as humanoids with fur and canine heads.
