Ancestry: Gnoll

Gnolls are hybrids of humans and hyenas created specifically to serve demons through sheer brutality, and are seen as the embodiment of chaos and brutality by many. They were created to be savage and strictly carnivorous creatures, bearing an innate craving for the thrill of the hunt alongside their pack and the satisfaction of their bloodlust. When they can't engage in glorious violence alongside their kin, Gnolls find themselves impatient and excitable, seeking any possible way to use up their energy. While Gnolls are prone to brutal and often evil acts, some come to recognize that these impulses are involuntary- some manage known to break free from the curse of their creation that causes their random bursts of violence.

Gnolls appear as tall humanoids with hyena facial features and strong builds. Gnoll skin is greenish-gray, and their furry hide a light or dark brown hue, sometimes marked with spots or stripes. Their eyes are brown, black, or solid pearl white. Their laughs are distinctly hyena-like, and when one Gnoll starts laughing, many other Gnolls are likely to join in.
