{Divine General}

Practitioners of this magical technique have mastered an ancient Clan Zenin technique that allows them to invoke the essence and abilities of the mythical Shikigami Mahoraga, gaining its great adaptive capabilities.

Celestial Adaptation

At 3rd level, When you take damage from a hit, you can use your reaction to gain resistance to that type of damage for 1 minute.

If attacked again with the same type of damage, you can use your reaction and gain immunity, but then cannot use this feature against the same type of damage until 1 minute has passed. You can have a maximum of 2 immunities at the same time.

You have uses equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all spent uses when you complete a long rest.

Additionally, the creature can become Large at will using its bonus action. It can end this effect without needing an action.

Environmental Adaptation

Additionally at 3rd level, you gain the feature "Environmental Adaptation"

  • Elemental Adaptation: You can spend your action to adapt your body to a specific environment. You can choose one of the following adaptations:

  • Aquatic: Gills grow on you, allowing you to breathe underwater and granting you a swimming speed equal to your walking speed.

  • Night Vision: If you are in total darkness, your eyes adjust and you gain darkvision with a range of 60 feet for a limited time.

  • Desert: Your skin thickens and becomes resistant to the scorching sun of the desert, granting you resistance to fire damage and extreme heat conditions.

  • Mountainous: Your muscles strengthen, and your balance improves, allowing you to climb vertical surfaces and move through rocky terrain with ease.

  • Arctic: Your body generates an additional layer of fat that protects you from extreme cold and grants you resistance to cold damage.

  • Forest: You develop acute sensory perception that allows you to move easily among trees and dense foliage, cannot be surprised, and gain advantage on Survival and Stealth checks in forest environments.

Duration of Adaptation: Your adaptation lasts a number of hours equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum 1 hour). After this time, your body returns to its normal state, and you must take a short or long rest before being able to use this feat again.

Wheel of Eight Handles

Also at 7th level, You can channel the divine energy of the Wheel of Eight Handles to heal your own wounds. As a bonus action, you can heal yourself for an amount of hit points equal to half your fighter level + the most recent damage you have taken in combat. You regenerate lost body parts.

You have uses equal to your Constitution modifier, and you regain all spent uses when you complete a long rest.

Unyielding Strength

Starting at 10th level, you can withstand adverse conditions with ease. You gain immunity to certain conditions situationally, when affected by one of these conditions (prone, Incapacitated, Frightened, etc.) after 2 of your turns, you recover from that condition and become immune to that condition for 1 minute. You can only have immunity to 2 altered conditions at once.

You have uses equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all spent uses when you complete a long rest.

Executor's Sword

At 15th level, Weapons are imbued with divine energy, allowing you to deal additional radiant damage equal to your Strength modifier, and the weapons are considered magical to overcome resistance to non-magical damage. In addition, you deal maximum damage on each attack.

Unstoppable General

at level 20 you gain the following feats:

  • You can now become Huge with "Celestial Adaptation".
  • You can have a maximum of 4 immunities at the same time from "Celestial Adaptation".
  • Your resistances become immunities.
  • You heal for 3d8 per turn.

Change Log

version 1.1

  • celestial adaptation no longer reduces damage by half.

  • Wheel of Eight Handles no longer benefits from the Proficiency bonus.

  • Unyielding Strength now takes 2 turns to gain immunity to altered conditions.
