Warlock Patron: The Soul Weapon
\pagebreak ### Pact of the Soul Weapon Your patron is a powerful soul that can manifest itself into a weapon of your desire, granting you access to unique abilities and transforming you into a formidable combatant. ### Expanded Spell List The Soul Weapon patron lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you. | Spell Level | Spells | |-------------|-------------------------------------------| | 1st | *Shield, Absorb Elements* | | 2nd | *Spiritual Weapon, Mirror Image* | | 3rd | *Spirit Guardian, Haste* | | 4th | *Spirit of Death, Guardian of Faith* | | 5th | *Steel Wind Strike, Holy Weapon* | ### Weapon Soul Familiar At 1st level, you gain a ghostly apparition that can transform into a weapon that serves as your patron. This ghostly apparition can communicate telepathically with you. As an action, you can transform your patron into its weapon form or spectral form. Your patron has the following properties: - Your patron will form into a melee weapon of your choice, such as a longsword, greataxe, or any other melee weapon you are proficient with. - When in spectral form it is treated like a familiar in the find familiar, when it is reduce to 0 hit points in spectral form it will teleport back to the wielder. - When you attack with your patron in its weapon form, you can use your Charisma modifier, instead of Strength or Dexterity, for the attack and damage rolls. The weapon form you choose for your patron is permanent unless you chose the Pact of the Blade as your boon. However, you can transfer your patron to a new weapon your are proficent with by performing a 1 hour ritual during a short or long rest. ### Soul Syntonization Starting at 6th level, your bond with your patron is strong enough for you to synchronize your soul with them, enhancing your combat abilities. Once per long rest as an bonus action, you gain the following benefits for 1 minute: - Your weapon attacks critically hit on a roll of 19 or 20. - Your weapon attacks deal an additional 1d8 force damage. - You can make an additional weapon attack when you take the Attack action on your turn. If you already have the Extra Attack feature, this extra attack stacks with it. - Your patron can steady your mind when it comes to concentrating on spells, You have advantage on Constitution saving throws that you make to maintain your concentration on a spell when you take damage.
### Soul Perception At 10th level, your connection to your patron enhances your senses. As an action, you can sense the presence and approximate location of any living creatures within a radius of 100 feet around you, even if they are invisible or obscured by cover. Additionally, you gain the ability to identify the type of creature and its alignment. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1) and regain all expended uses at the end of a long rest. ### Improved Soul Syntonization Upon reaching 14th level, because of your bond becoming even stronger with your patron your Soul Syntonization gains unparalleled power, allowing you to channel your patron’s essence into devastating attacks. When you use Soul Syntonization , you now gain the following benefits for 1 minute: - Your weapon attacks critically hit on a roll of 18-20. - Your weapon attacks deal an additional 2d8 force damage. - You can make two additional weapon attack when you take the Attack action on your turn.
