Smuggler’s Bag Of Holding adventuring gear (wondrous item) • Category: Items • Item Rarity: Rare • Weight: 15 This magic bag is used by smugglers and magicians alike. Able to switch between a normal pack and a bag of holding with a simple command word or phrase. Spending an hour attuning to the bag allows the user to change the command word or phrase, but does use an attunement slot. When in its non-magical backpack form, it does not emit a magical aura and holds items normally. For all practical purposes, it is a normal bag and Irene stowed in its magical pocket dimension are in. Upon taking an action to use the command it instantly switches to a bag of holding, the contents of the “non-magic” bag, being held in an entirely new pocket dimension. When in its magical state, this bag has an interior space considerably larger than its outside dimensions, roughly 2 feet in diameter at the mouth and 4 feet deep. The bag can hold up to 1000 pounds, not exceeding a volume of 128 cubic feet. The bag weighs 15 pounds, regardless of its contents. Retrieving an item from the bag requires an action. All objects placed inside the bags pocket dimension is perfectly preserved. If the bag is overloaded, pierced, or torn, it ruptures and is destroyed, and its contents are scattered into the Void/Astral Plane. If the bag is turned inside out, its contents spill forth, unharmed, but the bag must be put right before it can be used again. Breathing creatures inside the bag can survive up to a number of minutes equal to 30 divided by the number of creatures (minimum 1 minute), after which time they begin to suffocate. Placing a smugglers bag of holding, while in its magical form, inside an extradimensional space created by a handy haversack, portable hole, or similar item instantly destroys both items and opens a gate to the Void or Astral Plane. The gate originates where the one item was placed inside the other. Any creature within 10 feet of the gate is sucked through it to a random location. The gate then closes. The gate is one-way only and can't be reopened ___
