'Captain' or 'First Mate'

The the captain and first mate are the people who lead, they inspire those around them and help them prosper on the ship.

Skill Proficiencies: Choose two from Acrobatics, Animal Handling, Athletics, Insight, Intimidation or Persuasion

Tool Proficiencies: any two artisans tools.

Feat: You gain the Inspiring Leader feat.

Cook

The cook's job is to provide the crew with food and sustenance. Without the cook, the crew would surely starve, or die from malnutrition. Tasty food also just boosts morale.

Skill Proficiencies: Choose two from History, Nature, Persuasion, Performance, Sleight of Hand or Survival

Tool Proficiencies: Brewer's supplies, Herbalism kit

Expertise: Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any check using Cook's Utensils.

Feat: You gain the Chef feat.

Doctor

The doctor's job is to keep the entire crew in top shape. The health and wellness of their crew is of the utmost importance to the doctor.

Skill Proficiencies: Medicine, choose one from Insight, Nature, Perception, Sleight of Hand or Survival

Tool Proficiencies: Healer's Kit, Alchemist's Supplies

Expertise: Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any check using Medicine.

Feat: You gain the Healer feat.

Shipwright

The shipwright's job is to fix the ship, and keep the engineering together.

Skill Proficiencies: choose two from Athletics, History, Investigation, Perception, Arcana or Sleight of Hand

Tool Proficiencies: Choose two from Smith's tools, Carpenter's tools, or Tinker's tools

Expertise: You can choose one tool that your proficiency bonus is doubled while making any check with.

Feat: You gain the Artificer Initiate feat.

Scholar

The scholar is someone on the ship with a great knowledge of the world and things in it. They have many useful skills in their arsenal.

Skill Proficiencies: History or Performance, choose one from Insight, Investigation, Nature, Religion or Stealth

Tool Proficiencies: Any two artisans tools or instruments.

Expertise: You can choose one tool or instrument that your proficiency bonus is doubled while making any check with.

Feat: You gain either the Skill Expert or Skilled feat.
