Oath of Pride
The Oath of Pride is a commitment to the protection and rally of the oppressed. Being forced to live as a lesser due to the circumstances of one's birth is unacceptable. Paladins of this oath align themselves with the enslaved, ostracized, and abandoned.r4
Pride Paladins know if they do not fight for their right to live, they will be snuffed out by oppressors.
Tenets Of Pride
The tenets of the Oath of Pride embolden a paladin to fight for the oppressed and rise against injustice, even when the majority seems against your cause:
-
Protect Diversity. Society, both small and large scale, is stronger when there are people from all walks of life inhabiting it together in peace.
-
Stand up for the weak. Be the sword and shield of those who cannot fight against the shackles of oppressions.
-
Compassion before spite. Think and empathize before you pass judgment
-
Know your enemy. Focus your mind and strength to end the facets of oppression at the roots.

Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two channel divinity options.
-
Paragon of Support. As an action you present your holy symbol to imbue yourself with the ability to efficiently assist your allies in the heat of battle.
As an action you can take the help action as a bonus action for one minute. Furthermore you can use your help action to touch an adjacent creature and add two to their AC until the start of your next turn.
-
Equal Opportunity. You can use your channel divinity to bolster your physical and defensive abilities to match those around you. As a bonus action you can pick a creature you can see within 60 feet of you. You learn that creature’s movements speeds as well as that creature’s resistances and immunities if any. You then can then push yourself to gain one of that creature's movement speeds (walking, climbing, or swimming) and embolden yourself to gain one of their resistances (acid, cold, fire, force, lightning, necrotic, poison, psychic, radiant, or thunder) if any for one minute.
Aura of Camaraderie
At 7th level, you give off an empowering aura that fills you and your companions with confidence. You and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you have advantage on checks to avoid being grappled, restrained, or magically silenced.
At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
Prismatic Smite
Starting at 15th level, immediately after you deal damage to a creature with your Divine Smite feature you can fire eight multicolored rays of light shine from your holy smite. Each ray is a different color and has a different elemental power. Each creature of your choice within a 60-foot cone must make a dexterity saving throw. For each target, roll a d8 to determine which color ray affects it. Once you use this ability you cannot use it again until you complete a long rest.

This Is where I tell you about my inspiration for the subclass like I do for all my other ones (please check them out as well!). This one's inspiration was easy! I love Pride Knights Go check them out if you loved what I did here. But I'm queer and paladin is my favorite class. So I squished them together! Easy Peasy. It's kinda unreal to me that there isn't a subclass that fits the 'Fight for the little guy!' trope. Paladins and minorities' constant battle for rights just seem like an EASY connection to make. Go save a town. Take down an evil god. Make npc friends. Kill corrupt kings. Inspire your party members. And above all, enjoy your little gay knight.
