## Cursed Undead
Cursed Undead are the undead who bear the Darksign, a mark that changes them forever, granting immortality, but also the insanity that eventually comes with the Hollowing. Each Cursed Undead has an overbearing purpose in life that drives them forward and prevents them from Hollowing, but as soon as that purpose is lost, so are they.
### Cursed Undead Names Generally, Cursed Undead will keep their names from their former lives, but some may adopt new names. You may have any name you wish.
### Cursed Undead Traits Since you have become an undead, you gain the following traits. ***Ability Score Increase.*** You may increase one ability score by 2, and another ability score by 1. ***Age.*** Cursed Undead are practically immortal, with their only form of death being becoming a Hollow. ***Alignment.*** Cursed Undead tend toward neutrality because of their devotion towards purpose, but some purposes lead Cursed Undead to adopt the mindset of other alignments. ***Size.*** For some reason, Curse Undead are only human. Your size is Medium ***Speed.*** Your base walking speed is 30 feet. ***Darksign.*** The Darksign you bear saves you from death, but at a price. Whenever you would die, you instead come back to life in the place you last took a rest, or the last bonfire you sat at. However, you leave all of the XP you had in your current level at the place you died. You must retrieve your XP using the Retrieval trait before the next time you use this trait, otherwise it fades away. You may use this trait at will, even if you are above 0 hitpoints ***Retrieval.*** Whenever you drop your XP upon death, it appears as a bluish green smoke coming out of the ground. If you wish to retrieve it, you must go to the smoke and spend an action to absorb it. After doing so, you regain all XP lost. ***Soothing Flame.*** Whenever you rest at a campfire, bonfire, or similar fire for 1 hour, you gain the benefits of a long rest. You may allow others who rest at the same fire to gain the benefits as well. ***Estus Flask.*** You have a flask filled with a liquid called Estus that heals only the undead. It has 5 charges, and upon use, heals 2d4 + 2 hitpoints and removes all negative conditions and effects. Whenever you take a rest, or sit a fire, the flask regains all uses. ***Undead nature.*** You do not need to eat drink or sleep, and you are immune to necrotic damage \columnbreak
\pagebreak ## Hollow ### Hollows are created when a Cursed Undead loses its purpose, along with its sanity. They will attack anything they see with unbridled rage thats reasons are unknown. Since they are former Cursed Undead, they can be any class, CR, and have any stats, but they gain the following traits. ***Unbridled Rage.*** If the Hollow sees or otherwise notices a creature, it will immediately attack it. ***Broken Equipment.*** Hollows do not have the capacity to maintain their equipment, so the Hollow's weapons and armor will be broken, unless it is a new Hollow ***Estus Flask.*** The Hollow has 5 charges of Estus Flask that work the same way as a Cursed Undead's do, but they recharge between each combat
