The Cleaver is a sword whose blade appears to be made of ether, and a sword that embodies both of its definitions. The Cleaver has the following properties that may be activated at any time
 
**Cleave, def 1.** While this property is active, The sword can pass through solid matter, and it leaves a glowing trail as it moves that stays until the sword is removed from the surface. If a closed shape is traced on a surface, that shape will be cut out of the object. Any objects cut out in this way have no weight, and will float wherever they are placed, even in midair.
 
**Cleave, def. 2.** While this property is active, when the tip of the blade is pressed against a broken object or a object that has been cut out by this sword, if you are near the other parts of the object, the object will be repaired
