Warlock Patron:
Darkest Shadow
You have made your pact with a mysterious entity who's powers come in the form of shadow – a living and sentient darkness with no alliance to good or evil. The Darkest Shadow Warlocks gain a sentient shadow-like creature, becoming a permanent companion to them, known as Sentinel Shadows. These sentient undead act as protectors to their warlocks, being able to become a living shield for their master's vessel or weapons of mass destruction, but also form a life long companionship with their protectee.

Sentinel Shadow
"Weak, but docile in the light... Powerful, but unruly in the dark."
Starting at 1st level, you gain the service of a Sentinel Shadow, which you can communicate telepathically. As an action, you can magically summon such Sentinel Shadow, appearing in an unoccupied space of your choice within 30 feet of you. You can also temporarily dismiss it as an action.
The Shadow is friendly to you and your companions, and it obeys your commands. See its game statistics in the Sentinel Shadow stat block below, which uses your proficiency bonus (PB) in several places.
In combat, the Shadow shares your initiative count, but it takes its turn immediately after yours. It can move and use its reaction on its own, but the only action it takes on its turn is the Dodge action, unless you take a bonus action on your turn to command it to take another action. That action can be one in its stat block or some other action. If you are incapacitated, the Shadow can take any action of its choice, not just Dodge, focusing on protecting you.
If forced to attack it's Warlock, such as if it under the effects of the Enemies Abound spell or the Darkness's Fury trait, it must another target in range or change their action into a Dash and get closer to another creature.
The Shadow remains until it is reduced to 0 hit points or until you use this feature to summon the Shadow again. Anything the Shadow was wearing or carrying is left behind when it vanishes.
Once your Shadow has died, you can’t summon it again until you finish a long rest, unless you expend a Warlock spell slot to summon it.
Abyssal Armory
"The sun darkens the shadows."
Also at 1st level, whenever you would deal damage using a Warlock spell or ability, you can instead choose to deal necrotic damage.
Moreover, while under the effects of the Black Abyss trait, any attacks done through the Eldritch Blast cantrip can be made as if it was a melee spell attack.
Embrace Of The Abyss
"The shadow is the greatest teacher for how to come to the light."
At 6th level, you gain one of the following features depending on your Pact Boon:
Pact of the Blade. Your Shadow is considered to be your pact weapon. In addition, it can take the Attack Action while under the effects of it's Black Abyss trait.
Pact Of The Chain. Your Shadow can now be summoned through the find familiar spell, acting as a one, and can magically turn invisible, as an action, until it attacks, or until its concentration ends (as if concentrating on a spell). Any equipment the Sentinel Shadow wears or carries is invisible with it.
Pact of the Tome. Your Shadow has has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects and learns one cantrip of the Wizard spell list, using your Warlock Spellcasting Ability.
Pact of the Talisman. Your Shadow is considered to always be under the effects of the Guidance cantrip. Also, it doubles it's PB for its proficient skills.
Black Fallen Angel
"With your positions revealed, you're in my crosshairs. And there's no hiding from the coming storm. As my Patron would say... speed beats power."
Reaching 10th level, you can make any spell you cast that targets only you also target your Sentinel Shadow and it gains all your Eldritch Invocations.
In addition, you can use any type of movement the Sentinel Shadow has, as if it was your own, as long as you are under the effects of the Black Abyss trait.
Total Release
"The darker the shadow, the harder it is to control. I'm not talking about a dark silhouette."
Finally, at 14th level, as an action, for 1 minute, you release your Sentinel Shadow's bottled rage, gaining the following benefits:
- It grows Huge in size.
- It deals an additional die of damage in it's attacks.
- It has it's Strength and Dexterity increased to 20 (+5), no matter the light level it is standing on.
- It gains a number of temporary hit points equal to twice your Warlock level.
- It is considered to be under the effects of the Haste spell, though, cannot be dispelled.
- If using the Black Abyss trait, the Warlock is considered to under half cover.
- It makes the saving throw against it's Darkness's Fury trait with disadvantage.
Once you use this feature, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.

Brightness Incorporation. Depending on the light level the Sentinel Shadow is on, it's form changes:
While in Bright Light, the Sentinel Shadow is Small, with a Strength and Dexterity score modifiers of 12(+1) & 16(+3), respectively.
While in Dim Light, the Sentinel Shadow is Medium, with a Strength and Dexterity score modifiers of 14(+2) & 14(+2), respectively, and gains a +1 to it's AC.
While in Darkness, the Sentinel Shadow is Large, with a Strength and Dexterity score modifiers of 16(+3) & 12(+1), respectively, and gains a +2 to it's AC.
Black Abyss. As an action, the Sentinel Shadow can cover it's Warlock with their own body if within 5ft of them. Doing so, following changes happen:
- The Warlock's AC, proficient skills, Strength, and Dexterity becomes the same as the Sentinel Shadow's, unless if originally higher.
- The Warlock gains the Resistances, Immunities & Vulnerabilities of the Sentinel Shadow.
- The remaining hit points, including temporary, of the Shadow becomes a protective barrier. Whenever the Warlock takes damage, the barrier takes the damage instead. If this damage reduces the barrier to 0 hit points, the Shadow dies and the Warlock takes any remaining damage, with this trait ending on the Warlock.
While in this form, the Shadow occupies the same space as it's Warlock; can't move, but are dragged when their Warlock themselves move; and can only use it's action to leave this state and return to normal with the current barrier's hit points.
Darkness's Fury. If the Shadow starts its turn with fewer hit points than half it's hit point maximum (rounded down) or if took any type of damage while in Darkness, it must succeed on a Wisdom Saving Throw with a DC that equals 8 or half the damage it took, whichever number is higher. If it fails, it moves directly toward the nearest creature and attack it with their Attack, or Cast A Spell action if it has it, ignoring the commands of it's Warlock.
If the Warlock is under the effects of the Black Abyss trait when the Sentinel Shadow fails its saving throw, the Shadow uses the Warlock's own movement speed to move towards the nearest creature, dragging the Warlock with them, but does not attack the Warlock itself.
