- While wearing this armor, the wearer gains the following benefits:
- +1 bonus to their AC
- +1 bonus to their Constitution score.
- The wearer can use his reaction cast the Shield spell once per day without expending a spell slot.
When attuned to three other Emperor's Artifacts the character can attune to this item without an attunement slot.

If the character wearing this accomplishes great deeds the artifact awakens and will test the worth of the wearer. This item becomes Awakened Emperor's Artifact - Aurelia's Protective Breastplate.
