History


The Skaarj are an ancient race of cybernetic people who live on a planet known as Cendaros of the Xolaris System. The Xolaris system is a solar system that orbits a sun called Xol. The Skaarj are highly advanced and are very strong.

Appearance


The Skaarj are very large and have a large spinal fin called a Chordea connecting to their head and spine. They also have large razor-sharp claws and a long tail. Their eye color ranges from a neon blue to a crimson red.

Skaarj Names


Male: Oryx, Thauros, Kelryx, Takadox, Karog, Kator, Xinsal

Female: Xizu, Eris, Arath, Azura, Kaeyn, Taeya, Aurora

Skaarj Traits


As a Skaarj, you have the following traits.

Ability Score Increase. Your Strength and Dexterity score increase by 1 each.

Age. The Skaarj live long lives that go up to 2000 years. The Skaarj reach adulthood at 240.

Alignment. The Skaarj follow a strict code of honor and are mostly Lawful Neutral though there have been exceptions.

Size. The average height of a male Skaarj is around 8ft8 and the average female height is 7ft9. Your size is medium.

Speed. The Skaarj have an average walking speed of 40 feet.

Languages. As a Skaarj, you can speak, read, and write Cendarian as well as 1 other language.

Darkvision. As a Skaarj, you can see up to 120 feet in the dark.

Cybernetics. Most Skaarj have cybernetic implants. You may choose 1.

Claws As a Skaarj, you have razor sharp claws that can be used as a weapon dealing 1d4 + Strength Modifier.

Factions. There are 3 main factions in the Skaarj civilization and you may choose to be in one.

Faction Flavor
Forerunners The Forerunners act as the guardians of the Skaarj. They are a large group and are honorable. They are run by a council known as a vanguard. By joining them, you get a +1 in your Strength and Charisma score.
Reapers The Reapers are a small group of assassins within the Skaarj. They break the lawful tradition and are usually bounty hunters and hackers. You get a +1 in your Dexterity and Constitution score.
Harbingers The Harbingers are a large group that provides the Skaarj with information, magic, and resources from other planets. You gain a +1 in your Intelligence and Wisdom score.
Factionless You have no faction and get a +2 in one stat score of your choice.
Cybernetic Flavor
Blaster This cybernetic is a small blaster that is connected to your palm and shoots 3 small energy bolts dealing 1d4 heat damage each.
Scanner This cybernetic is a small scanning device replacing 1 or both of your eyes. It gives you a +2 on all investigation and perception rolls.
Boosters This cybernetic allows you to move much faster, increasing your speed from 40 to 50 feet.
