Bonus Proficiencies
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with the Perception and Stealth skills.
Sniping Protege
3rd-Level Sniper Feature
You gain proficiency with any ranged simple and martial weapon thus including Firearms. When you take the attack action, you can immediately dive behind cover after, if available, and take the hide action. On the first round of combat if you have advantage on your attack, roll a 1d6, on a 6 your next attack to successfully hit will deal damage as if it was a critical hit. If the roll was a 20 on the die, your sneak attack deals additional damage equal half your sneak attack rolled.
Bloodshot
3rd-Level Sniper Feature
Whenever you drop a creature below half their total hit points disregarding any temporary HP or bonuses to HP after the battle starts or the first time you deal damage to a creature below half its hitpoint total. You deal extra damage equal to your proficiency bonus. Your next sneak attack also deals an extra 1d6 damage. This number increases to 2d6 at level 9, 3d6 at level 13, and 4d6 at level 17. The extra damage can only be rolled if your initial damage score meets the requirement.
Nowhere to Hide
9th-Level Sniper Feature
You gain the Sharpshooter feat. If the creature is hidden behind full cover, only a critical hit can allow you to pierce through. If you already have the feat from this subclass feature you may choose another feat to replace it.
Steady Hands
9th-Level Sniper Feature
Whenever you take the Steady Aim bonus action you do not have disadvantage on attacks when prone or long range attacks. You now ignore the reloading property on all ranged weapons you are proficient with.
Long Shot
13th-Level Sniper Feature
You trained enough to make your ranged attacks reach farther than they normally would. You gain the following benefits:
- The normal range for your ranged attacks is twice the weapon's normal range
- The long range for your ranged attacks is twice the weapon's long range
Sharp Aim
13th-Level Sniper Feature
When you attack a target hindering their movement is the best support a sniper can give. When you use the Sharpshooter feat, your attacks cause the creature to lose half their movement speed until the end of your next turn.
Armor Piercing
17th-Level Drakewarden Feature
Whenever you score a critical hit, the target’s AC is lowered by 2 until the start of your next turn.
