You direct a great amount of divine energy at your opponent or harness and imbue your weapon with it.

When you cast this spell, choose one of the two following effects to use:

Ranged:  Make a ranged spell attack against a creature you can see within range. On a hit, it takes 8d8 radiant damage and must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, it is blinded for one minute. A creature blinded by this spell can make another Constitution saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the blindness on a successful save.

Melee:  The range of this spell changes to self, and its duration changes to one minute, requiring concentration. The next time you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack during this spell's duration, it takes an additional 6d8 radiant damage and must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, it is stunned until the end of its next turn.


If a creature hit by this spell is an undead or fiend, it takes an additional 8d10 radiant damage and has disadvantage on the effect's initial saving throw. This additional radiant damage is not affected by critical hits.
