The blood war's ongoing violence spurred Sephiroth to research how it started. After many years, he found that demons and devils were originally designed and not "birthed" from their planes. They were not designed in the Abyss or the Nine Hells but Hades.
Hades is nothing but a gray waste. A plane devoid of emotion or color just like its inhabitants, the yugoloths. These creatures, ruthless, can be dealt with for the right price.
After spending decades here, Sephiroth became accustomed to trading souls with inhabitants to gather information. Slaying the occasional demon lord or greater devil that crossed his path, he found that information about the origins of demons or devils was sparse.
Eventually, he came to the Town in the Center where the three layers of Hades touch one another. He gained audience with its leader, Dandy Will, whom was happy to share what he knew for souls of paladins. For sake of stopping evil, Sephiroth had no problem gathering such things.
There was a race of beings older than gods known as Baernaloths that secretly resided in Hades. They are beings of absolute evil that designed not only demons and devils but daemons and demodands as well. Such beings are said to be unkillable as their soul moves to take over others. However, Sephiroth is determined to find a way. \pagebreak ___ ___ > ## Sephiroth >*Medium Celestial (Fallen Solar), Lawful Evil* > ___ > - **Armor Class** 21 (Natural Armor) > - **Hit Points** 418 (31d10 + 216) > - **Speed** 50 ft., fly 150 ft. >___ >|STR|DEX|CON|INT|WIS|CHA| >---|---|---|---|---|--- >28 (+9)|26 (+8)|27 (+8)|26 (+8)|26 (+8)|30 (+10) >___ > - **Saving Throws** Int +16, Wis +16, Cha +18 > - **Skills** Perception +16, Athletics +17, Arcana +16, Religion +16, History +16 > - **Damage Resistances** radiant; bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing from nonmagical attacks that aren't silvered > - **Damage Immunities** necrotic, poison, fire > - **Condition Immunities** charmed, exhaustion, frightened, poisoned > - **Senses** truesight 120 ft., passive Perception 26 > - **Languages** All, telepathy 120 ft. > - **Challenge** 27 (105,000 XP) > ___ > ### Traits > >***Innate Spellcasting*** Sephiroth's innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 26, +16 to hit).
