Warlock Patron

The Adjudicator

You are an enforcer for a devil, or some other infernal being of great power that wants it's will to be kept. Whether you collect on debts, or make sure a creature upholds their end of a devilish deal, you patron has made sure to arm you with the tools of an executioner, hunting down and eliminating your targets with hellish ferocity.

Expanded Spell List

The Adjudicator lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Judge's Bestowal

Starting at 1st level, you are granted certain abilities to assist your mission. You gain proficiency with Heavy Armor and two Martial Weapons of your choice. You may change which two weapons you are proficient in during the course of a short rest, as the knowledge is replaced in your mind.

Executioner's Blade

Also at 1st level, a weapon you wield can become a mighty tool for judgment. As a bonus action, you may infuse one weapon that you are touching and are proficient with, giving it the following properties while you are wielding it for the next 10 minutes.

  • You may treat this weapon as an arcane focus for your warlock spells.
  • You may add half your Charisma modifier, rounded down, to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon.
  • Whenever you attack a creature currently affected by a spell, you may deal an additional 1d8 fire damage on a hit.

After you use this feature, you must finish a long rest before you can use it again.

Martial Magic

At 6th level, when you take the attack action on your turn, you may also make one spell attack using a cantrip you know. Also, you do not have disadvantage on ranged spell attacks if the target is within 5 feet of you.

Infernal Verdict

When you reach 10th level in this class, your might ensures the end of many a life. Once per turn, when you make an attack with a weapon you are proficient in, you may spend a spell slot to deal an additional 2d8 fire damage per level of spell slot spent. On a hit, the creature must make a wisdom saving throw equal to your spell save DC or have their movement speed reduced to 0 until the beginning of their next turn.

Put Down

At 14th level, your patron grants you impossible knowledge over those who wish to resist you. Whenever a creature makes an attack against you with a weapon you have proficiency in, they make that attack with disadvantage. Additionally, you may use your bonus action to target a creature wielding a weapon you are proficient with that you can see within 60 feet. For the next minute, or until the target ends their turn without wielding a weapon you are proficient in, you have advantage on all weapon attacks against them that add your proficiency bonus.

You may use your bonus action this was once, and you may use it again after a short or long rest.
