Drow (dark elves) are a devious, scheming subterranean race that worships Lolth, the Demon Queen of Spiders. Drow society is strictly matriarchal. Male drow are relegated to servitor roles.

Cuereva is rakish and brutal in combat smashing his opponents with his long sword using two hands. He dresses in a black breastplate and leather clothes and will take any opportunity to show off his superiority and his skill. He will seek a duel with anyone who displays great ferocity in combat (i.e. anyone using a martial melee weapon in two hands). He likes to make an entrance, be dramatic and put on a show. He is likely to fight using his sword as normal until an opponent injures him, and then he will stop everyone (use persuasion if necessary), exclaim how he has found a worthy opponent to duel, use Second Wind to prepare, spectacularly ignite his Flame Tongue and reengage. Alternatively, if he can get some time to give a bit of a monologue at the beginning of the encounter, he may dramatically ignite his sword, perform some flourishes, make an oath to avenge Eireval, and then attack.

He has a very strong bond with Nezznar and Eireval, they are like brothers, and will do anything to see Nezznar succeed in his goal of claiming the Forge of Spells. If one character displays ferocity in combat he will insist on a duel with them demanding everyone stop fighting and watch.

Cuereva will appear in Wave Echo cave in an appropriate place by himself after the party has just finished combat with other creatures. He will angrily confront the party as he is seeking revenge for Eireval’s death (if he was killed), or retribution if he was only injured. His purpose, however, is to kill the party so that they cannot disclose the location of Wave Echo Cave. If one character displays ferocity in combat he will insist on a duel with them demanding everyone stop fighting and watch
