You imbue your wielded weapon with holy power until the end of your next turn. The imbued weapon sheds dim light in a 5-feet radius and becomes magical, if it isn't already.

If you cast this spell as an action, you can make one melee weapon attack with the weapon using the same action, or hurl it for a ranged weapon attack, in which case the weapon gains the thrown (30/60) property for that attack only, or its range is increased by the same amount if it already has it. If thrown, the weapon flies back to your hand afterwards, and if you hit, the attack can benefit from any spell or feature which requires hitting with a melee attack.

When you reach 5th level, attacks with the imbued weapon deal an additional 1d6 radiant damage for the duration, which increases to 2d6 at 11th level and 3d6 at 18th level.
