Path of the Skald
Barbarians who walk the path of the Skald see their rage not as a selfish drive for bloodshed, but as an expression of valor. These barbarians project their emotions unto the weave itself, starting a magical performance that heartens their allies and dooms their enemies. Often taught through oral traditions, these Skalds will usually have a favorite tale of battle which they tell when they rage. Choose the story of your Heroic Edda or roll for it on the Heroic Edda table.

Imposing Performer
Starting at 3rd level, your physical presences carries over into your act. You gain proficiency in Performance, or a Barbarian skill of your choice if you are already proficient, and when you make an Performance check, you can add your Strength modifier to the roll. Additionally, you gain proficiency in two instruments of your choice, and you learn the Vicous Mockery cantrip. Strength is your spell casting modifier for this cantrip, it can be cast while raging (counting as an attack for the purposes of extending rage) and you can add your Strength modifier to the damage it deals.
Savage Chant
Also at 3rd level, you learn to harness your anger to project your presence across the battlefield, heartening your allies and inspiring them with greater fury. When you are raging, an aura of magical performance emanates 10 feet from you in every direction. Whenever you or an allied creature make an ability check, saving throw or rolls for damage on a melee attack, they can add your rage bonus to the roll, if it isn't included already. This aura becomes larger as you gain levels in this class, becoming 15 feet at 6th level, 20 feet at 10th level, 25 feet at 14th level, and 30 at 18th level.
Heartening Song
Beginning at 6th level, your inspiring presence pushes your allies to fight on. When you or an ally starts its turn in your aura, you can choose to have it regain hitpoints equal to 1d12 + your Barbarian level. Once a creature regains hitpoints this way, it cannot do so again until it finishes a short rest.
Bellows on the Wind
Beginning at 10th level, the wind is so familiar with the weight of your voice that it can carry it forever. You can cast the Sending spell without material or somatic components, and without expending a spell slot. You can do so a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and regain all uses when you finish a long rest.
Poetic Dirge
At 14th level, your song brings foes to the deepest pits of despair, ensuring their fall. After a creature within your aura makes a saving throw, you can use your reaction to subtract your Rage damage bonus from the result.
