\pagebreak # Summoner An enemy army is in the distance, the determined human orders the troops to attack ready for an arduous battle. while the party is resting, a tabaxi pet 16 beasts that he has summoned before continuing his adventure. as they entered the village, the villains were terrified to see zombies and skeletons, the dampir who summoned the undead said "it's all right, they won't bite". summoner are invoquer of creatures. they summon creatures to help them fight on the battlefield ## quantity over quality summoners are specialists in summoning a large number of creatures. with his magic he is able to summon a large number of creatures to overwhelm his enemies. ## magical but not caster although summoners cannot cast spells, this class is a very magical class since it uses its magic to summon creatures.also, some of the creatures he summons can cast spells. ## Creating a Summoner first of all you have to know that you are going to control a lot of creatures, so I hope you are ready and roll a lot of dice (or use macros if you are in a VTT). You also have to take into account the role-playing implications of having more than 10 creatures at the same time, how will society react? How will your martial allies react to know that you at level 1 will probably do more damage than them at level 20?
##### QUICK BUILD You can make a summoner quickly by following these suggestions. First, Wisdom should be your highest ability score, followed by Constitution. Second, choose the hermit background. ##### Multiclassing **Ability Score Minimum:** Wisdom 13 When you gain a level in a class other than your first, you gain only some of that class's starting proficiencies. **Armor:** light armor. **Weapons:** simple weapons

You learn to speak, read, and write Sylvan. In addition, beasts can understand your speech, and you gain the ability to decipher their noises and motions. Most beasts lack the intelligence to convey or understand sophisticated concepts, but a friendly beast could relay what it has seen or heard in the recent past. This ability doesn't grant you friendship with beasts, though you can combine this ability with gifts to curry favor with them as you would with any nonplayer character. owlbears are considered to be a beast for the use of this freature. > ##### What, a owlbear!? > yes,I saw the trailer for the D&D movie and said "what if I could summon owlbear" . And that's how I added the owlbear. \columnbreak

It summons four beasts of your choice that are challenge rating 2 or lower. The conjured beasts appear within 20 feet of you. A creature can remove the stench on itself by using a short rest to bathe in water, alcohol, or vinegar. \pagebreakNum ## appendix 2: talking about class design ### where did the idea for the class come from? The idea of this class is in one of the most unique subclasses I have seen in the entire game.the subclass I am talking about is a revision of the Purple Dragon Knight that is in [ F.O. Dread's Grimoire of Everything](https://www.gmbinder.com/share/-MuHehvt_dfEexME9mdj) that is made by haen. When you think of a revision of Purple Dragon Knight you think of a commander. you know the typical. so you know what i'm talking about look for a revision of Purple Dragon Knight or a commander class. that's what i'm talking about. but this revision was not that, it was better. it was a summoning subclass.I'm not creating anything new, I'm just expanding on what haen has done.If it had not been for him, the class would not have existed. ### what things you cloud add/change? first of all, as for the subclasses I have several ideas in mind * Fey: this subclass will be the 1/3 of the summoning. The spells list will be the druid list (but whit limitated Schools of Magic) * Dragon:In a game called Duengon and dragons. it is to be expected that you can summon dragons.the problem is that there are not many low CR dragons, but I will see if I can add it. maybe, I will make a guide, but I am not 100% sure. ### I believe this class is ovepower you are right, or at least if you look at it from this point of view of the average martial. this class will do more damage than many martial. but my intention is that it will compete with castes. this class has no spells and will specialize in summoning, so I want this class to be better at summoning than a druid. | name | 1st Tier | 2nd Tier |3rd Tier |4th Tier |5th Tier |6th Tier |7th Tier |8th Tier | 9th Tier | |:---:|:-----------:|:-----------:|:-----------:|:-----------:|:-----------:|:-----------:|:-----------:|:-----------:|:-----------:| | Placeholder | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | | Placeholder | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | | Placeholder | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | | Placeholder | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | | Placeholder | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | | Placeholder | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | | Placeholder | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | | Placeholder | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | \columnbreak ### Changelog v0.2 * the class is complete from level 1 to 20 (although there may be changes in the class) * the soldier class is almost complete, just need to add more creatures to it * the first version of darkness subclass is here, although it is not yet complete. ### Changelog v0.3 * changed the level 18 freature to Legendary Action. * new freatury at level 15, Legendary Resistance * new subclass, beast * darkness subclass is finish ### Changelog v1.0 * the class is finished, although there may be more updates in the future \pagebreak
