Roguish Archetype:

Freeloader

As an archetypal Freeloader, you excel in abusing the better natures of others, using them as a cover to commit their selfish acts, or to shield themselves from the consequences of such an act. Bandits, con artists, drifters or cowardly nobles fall under this archetype. A freeloader will usually disdain one on one combat, preferring to hide behind friends or any poor sap they have convinced to fight for them, picking the enemy off once they are weak. Despite this, they will often still bluster and lie about their strength and bravery, but resorting to cowardice when such claims are put to the test. Many adventuring parties begrudgingly accept these rogues, valuing their charismatic skills, if not their attitude and reputation.

Scapegoat

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you learn to offload your misdeeds onto others. When you hit a creature with sneak attack, you can force it to make a wisdom saving throw against your Freeloader save DC (equal to 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your Charisma modifier). On a failure, you can choose one ally within 15 feet of the creature. Until the end of your next turn, the creature has disadvantage on any any attack roll that doesn't target that creature.

Additionally, whenever you use sneak attack on a creature within 5 feet of an ally, it deals an additional 1d6 damage.

Grifter's Knack

At 3rd level, you gain proficiency in Deception and Persuasion. Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any check you make using those skills.

Pass the Burden

At 9th level, you are an expert in getting other people to do things for you. Whenever you are forced to make an ability check or saving throw, you can use your reaction to choose a creature within 30 feet of you, and force it to make a Wisdom saving throw against your Freeloader save DC. A creature can willing fail this saving throw. On a failure, it must roll the ability check or saving throw using it's own modifier, and you can choose to use the result.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and regain all uses when you finish a long rest.

Inspiring Sycophant

At 13th level, your dirty tactics may influence other to cheat on their own. As a bonus action on your turn, you can cast the Bless spell, requiring no concentration. Although this may replicate the effect of a spell, it is not classified as one and thus is unaffected by any effects that mention spells.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and regain all uses when you finish a long rest.

Sacrificial Opening

At 17th level, you have learned to appreciate your fellow adventurers, even going so far as to protect them in battle. When you see a creature within 60 feet of you hit an ally with an attack, you can use your reaction to make a weapon attack against it. On a hit, the creature has disadvantage on any attack targeting that ally until the end of your next turn.
