Oblex Gravemind
Oblex graveminds are a special kind of oblex that are notorious body snatchers that steal and devour the dead from crypts and catacombs. Whereas oblex oozeminds feed off the minds of others, the oblex gravemind is a scavenger that feeds off the necrotic energy found within the dead.
Tomb Raiders
Graveminds are notorious tomb raiders as they will claim crypts and barrows as their new lair devouring all the corpses inside. After devouring the dead, the oblex will then spawn necrotic simulacra of the dead to lure more creatures into the tomb. Their favorite tactic is to trick nearby denizens into sending unsuspecting victims into tombs to deal with n outbreak of undead only to come face to face with the oblex.
Gravemind Tactics
Just like the rest of their kind, oblex graveminds are patient hunters. In comparison to other oblexes, graveminds are less prone to wander and will typically reside within their lairs until that location proves to be ineffective at luring more prey. The larger the size of the tomb or catacombs, the more likely that the oblex will choose to make this destination its new domain. Although these oozes are typically found in these environments, they have also been known to make their homes in large sewer complexes beneath large cities as well.
Cryptic Lairs
However, taking residence in crypts and catacombs has its advantages as the oblex is able to quickly travel through the infinite network of crevices deploying simulacrum as needed to confuse and isolate prey before its main form moves in for the kill. If possible, the oblex gravemind will be able to dispatch each of its victims without hardly revealing its true form, only coming out of hiding to consume its fallen prey.
Hallowed Fear
However, their affinity to necrotic energy has also caused these oblexes to develop a natural fear of holy magic. Although these oblexes are not considered to be undead, their necrotic nature finds all manner of holy divinity to be repulsive and will immediately flee from the source of such magic.

Actions
Multiattack. The oblex can make two attacks with its pseudopods
Pseudopod. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, 10ft., one target. Hit: 9 (2d4+4) acid damage + 9(2d8) necrotic damage. On a hit, the target cannot regain hitpoints until the end of its next turn.
Consume Life One creature within 5ft. of the oblex must succeed a DC 14 Constitution saving throw. On a failed saving throw, the target takes 27(6d8) necrotic damage and half as much on a success. The target's hitpoint maximum is reduced by the necrotic damage dealt and the oblex regains a number of hitpoints equal to the necrotic damage dealt. The reduction lasts until the target finishes a long rest. The target dies if this effect reduces its hit point maximum to 0. When a creature dies in this manner, the oblex gains all its proficiencies, language, and knowledge
Necrogenesis The oblex can use its action consume a dead creature or a creature it can see within 0 hitpoints, instantly killing it on a hit. Upon using this feature, the oblex gains 30 hitpoints. Upon using this feature, the oblex can immediately use its Necrotic Impersonator.
Destroy Simulacrum The oblex can choose to detonate one of its active Simulacrum. All creatures within 10ft. of the simulacrum must succeed a DC 14 Constitution saving throw. On a failed saving throw, creatures take 14(3d8) necrotic damage + 14(3d8) acid damage and cannot regain hitpoints until the end of its next turn. On a successful saving throw, creatures take half damage and cannot regain hitpoints until the end of its next turn.
Bonus Actions
Necrotic Impersonator As a bonus action, the oblex can extrude a piece of itself that assumes the appearance of one Medium or smaller creature whose memories it has stolen. This simulacrum appears, feels, and sounds exactly like an undead version of the creature it impersonates, though it smells faintly of like rotting flesh. The oblex can impersonate 1d4 + 1 different creatures, each one tethered to its body by a strand of slime that can extend up to 300 feet away. For all practical purposes, the simulacrum is the oblex, meaning that the oblex occupies its space and the simulacrum's space simultaneously. Whenever the oblex moves on its turn, its simulacrum can move the same distance in a direction of the oblex's choice while within range. The slimy tether is immune to damage, but it is severed if there is no opening at least 1 inch wide between the oblex's main body and the simulacrum. The simulacrum disappears if the tether is severed.
Reactions
Gelatinous Evasion When the oblex takes damage, it can use its reaction to take half damage instead.
