### Warlock Patron: Undying Rework #### Expanded Spell List At 1st level, the Undying lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you. ##### Undying Expanded Spells | Spell Level | Spell | |:----:|:-------------| | 1st | False Life, Inflict Wounds | | 2nd | Blindness/Deafness, Ray of Enfeeblement | | 3rd | Feign Death, Speak with Dead | | 4th | Aura of Life, Death Ward | | 5th | Antilife Shell, Contagion | #### Life and Death Starting at 1st level, you learn the Spare the Dying cantrip, which counts as a warlock cantrip for you. You also have advantage on saving throws against any disease. When you cast Spare the Dying on a creature the creature gains a number of temporary hit points equal to your Warlock level plus your Charisma modifer (minimum of 1). #### Tethered Soul Starting at 1st level your Patron has transformed your soul into a twisted form between life and death allowing you to siphon the power of your own soul. Any time you expend a Warlock Spell slot you can expend a number of Warlock hit die up to the level of the Warlock spell slot and choose one of the following options: * Roll the hit die you expended and regain HP equal to the amount rolled. * You can cause one target of your spell to make a constitution saving throw, on a failure they take necrotic damage equal to the number rolled on the hit die you expended. If your spell targets multiple creatures, choose one to make the save. On a success they take half as much damage. \columnbreak #### Fragment of Death Starting at 6th level, you patrons undead blessing has granted you resistance to necrotic and poison damage. Additionally you gain proficiency in death saving throws. #### Undying Soul Starting at 10th level your soul has gained more strength from being halfway between living and dead. As an action you imbue yourself with a necrotic vigor, regaining a number of Warlock hit die equal to half your Warlock level. You can use this feature once and regain the ability to use it at the end of a long rest. #### Undead Nature Beginning at 10th level, you don't need to breathe, eat, drink, or sleep, although you still require rest to reduce exhaustion and to benefit from finishing short and long rests. In addition, you age at a slower rate. For every 10 years that pass, your body ages only 1 year, and you are immune to being magically aged. #### Drain Life Starting at 14th level you have been granted the ability to siphon life from others. As an action you target a creature you can see within 30 feet of you and expend a number of Warlock hit die up to to half your Warlock level (rounded up) plus your charisma modifier (minimum of 1). The creature must succeed on a Constitution saving throw, on a failure they take necrotic damage equal to the number rolled on the hit die you expended, on a success they take half damage. You regain HP equal to the amount of damage you dealt. Constructs and undead are immune to this feature. You must finish a long rest before using this feature again.
