Half-Orc/Half-Drow

A Match Made in Hell

Savage and mysterious, this half-breed of orc and drow was fairly uncommon. Both races, motivated by their hatred of civilization and their need to satisfy the demands of their deities, this race knows that if they fight well and bring glory to their tribe and to Lolth, She will give them a place by her side.

Half-Orc/Half-Drow Features

Due to the nature of your creation you gain feats of both of these races but not all.

  • Age. Although drow-orc reach physical maturity at about the same age as humans, the drow-orc adulthood goes beyond physical growth to encompass combat experience. An drow-orc typically claims adulthood and an adult name around the age of 18 but can live to be 500 years old.
  • Ability Score Increase. You gain +2 to Strength and +1 to Dexterity.
  • Size. Drow-Orcs are usually a little over 6 feet tall and weigh between 215 and 250 pounds. Your size is Medium.
  • Speed Your base movement speed is 30 feet
  • Mixed Intuition. You have proficiency in two of the following skills of your choice: Insight, Intimidation, Nature, Perception, and Survival.
  • Seeth. You don't need to sleep. Instead, they meditate deeply, remaining semiconscious, for 4 hours a day. After resting in this way, you gain the same benefit that a human does from 8 hours of sleep.
  • Mixed Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 90 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
  • Mixed Magic. You know the dancing lights cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the faerie fire spell once per day; you must finish a long rest in order to cast the spell again using this trait. When you reach 5th level, you can also cast the darkness spell once per day; you must finish a long rest in order to cast the spell again using this trait. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
  • Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common, Orc, and Elvish.
  • Heat Sensitivity. You have disadvantage on attack rolls and on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight when you are in weather over 100 degrees.
