Selfless Pursuit
Unlike many powerful mages who hide their tomes and magical secrets, wizards who follow the selfless pursuit tradition believe the true powers of magic can only be unlocked by sharing and working with others. Through this philosophy they find ways to revile secrets, aid allies, and teach the arcane arts to others. Many adventurers who walk down this path find themselves as teachers, librarians, or other educational influencers.
Altruistic spells
Starting at 2nd level, when you cast a spell that has a range of self with a duration longer than instantaneous you can give an ally within 30 feet the effects of the spell instead of yourself. The spell acts as though the creature cast it, but it continues to use your spellcasting modifier, save DC, attack modifier, and your concentration if the spell requires such.
At 10th level, you can pick two allies instead of one.
At 10th level, when you use altruistic spells you can target two allies instead of one. If the spell has material components you must provide them for each ally.
Selfless Savant
Beginning when you select this tradition at 2nd level, the gold and time you must spend to copy a spell with the range of self into your spellbook is halved.
Uncovered Secrets
At 10th level, you add the legend lore spell to your spell book if its not already there. It counts as ritual spell for you and when you cast it as a ritual the material components are not consumed and info you gather can be about non legendary things.
At 10th level, you add the legend lore spell to your spell book if its not already there. When you cast the spell you can have the information you gather can be about a non legendary person, place or object.
Arcane Tutor
Upon reaching 14th level, you can temporarily teach one willing creature how to cast one spell of 3rd level or lower in your spellbook during a long rest. After the long rest is finished the creature can cast that spell once without expending a spell slot. The creature can choose to use your spellcasting modifier or their own if they have one. Once you or the creature take a long rest they forget how to cast the spell in this way.
