This shield appears to have been made of glass or crystal, fashioned in the likeness of feathered wings. Despite the typically fragile material of its construction, it gives off a very sturdy impression.

While you have this shield donned, you gain a +1 bonus to Armor Class (in addition to the normal +2 bonus that a shield provides). The shield has 7 charges which can be used for the following benefits:

• If you expend one charge and speak its command word as a reaction to you or an ally you can see being targeted by an attack, the shield flies off and intercepts the attack, causing the attacker to have disadvantage. This can be done while you are wearing the shield, or while it hovers in your square.
• If you expend two charges and speak its command word as a bonus action on your turn, you can have it hover in your space for one minute. While it hovers in your square, you lose the extra +1 bonus to Armor Class, but gain the advantage of having your shield hand free. You can speak the command word a second time as a bonus action on your turn to end the effect early. Whenever the effect ends, the shield flies back to your forearm and dons itself.
• If you expend three charges and speak its command word as a bonus action on your turn, you can have the shield cast the Shield of Faith spell on an ally that you can see. The shield will concentrate upon the spell for one minute.

The shield regains 1d4+1 charges each dawn.
