Frost Giants
Frost giants are a notorious warrior race who claim the frozen wastes of the Material Plane as their domain. Frost giants are perfectly acclimated to live in their unforgiving environment. Frost giants can easily be identified by their pale blue skin, their freezing white hair, and their towering stature of 20ft. or taller.
Frost Giant Society
Frost giant civilization is not known for their spectacular feats of architecture. Instead, they are a proud warrior race notorious for their pillaging raids. In fact, the majority of frost giant civilization is built around the concept of strength and skill in battle. One's social standing is often determined by feats in battle and are often flaunted through battle scars and trophies. Typically, frost giant settlements are led by powerful jarls who are ornately decorated with dozens of war trophies.
Frozen Pillagers
There is very little that frost giants create or grow by themselves. Instead, their civilization mostly thrives off of raiding and plundering goods from others. Nearly every aspect of frost giant civilization has been plundered, especially their colossal weapons and armor, which are often crafted from the bones, hides, or loot of their previous victims. Frost giants possess a special hatred for dragons and will not balk at the opportunity to prove their worth by slaying one of these creatures.
Frost Giant Tactics
Frost giants are known for their particular love for battle. Typically, frost giants travel in small raiding parties of up to 7 (2d6) members to raid nearby settlements. However, against more challenging foes, frost giants have been known to sport numbers of about 22 (4d10) or even more. Typically, such large engagements are often seen through the rare alliance of frost giant clans to defeat a mightier foe, such as dragons.
Bold Fighters
In combat, the frost giant typically seek out the strongest opponent to defeat, mainly to claim the glory of defeating such an enemy. If possible, most frost giants prefer to engage in melee combat and will only resort to using frozen rocks if they being in melee range puts them at extreme risk. However, frost giants are often able to minimize any long distance threats due to their surprising agility, especially when in the heat of battle. Once in combat, a frost giant is a nearly unstoppable force as the long they fight, the more dangerous they become as they will enter into a berserk state if wounded enough.
Battlefield Competition
However, the most dangerous aspect about Frost Giants is their competitive approach to combat. Especially when in a raiding party, frost giants will often have friendly competition between members over how many kills each one can possess. Because of this, frost giants tend to be extremely aggressive killing anything in sight, even if victory had already been claimed.
