Druid Circle

Circle of the Bonded Spirit

Druids of the Circle of the Bonded Spirit are paired up with a spirit from nature that aids them in mastering their druidic powers. These druids are more likely to become adventures as they live nomadic lifestyles in the effort to explore the natural world with their bonded spirit, learning in tandem to become mortals that can truly live in harmony with nature.

Expanded Spell List

The Circle of the Bonded Spirit grants access to an expanded spell list, which are always prepared for you, and do not count towards the maximum number of prepared spells you can have at any given time.

Bonded Spirit Spells
Druid level Spell
3th blur, enlarge/reduce
5th blink, conjure barrage
7th freedom of movement, polymorph
9th banishing smite, steel wind strike

Wild Bond

Also at 2nd level, As an action, you can expend a use of your Wild Shape feature to form a physical body for your bonded spirit. The form is a beast that follows the limitations set by the Wild Shape feature.

The bonded spirit obeys your commands. In combat, the Bonded spirit shares your initiative count, but it takes its turn immediately after yours. It can move and use its reaction on its own, but the only action it takes on its turn is the Dodge action, unless you take a bonus action on your turn to command it to take another action. That action can be one in its stat block or some other action. If you are incapacitated, the bonded spirit can take any action of its choice, not just Dodge.

Additionally, when you use this feature the bonded spirit gains additional hit points equal to twice your druid level plus your Wisdom modifier.

Primal Claws

At 6th level, your bonded spirits attacks count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.

Extra Attack

At 6th level, you can attack twice instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.

Beast Master

At 10th level, you can use your Wild Bond feature to transform your Bonded Spirit into a beast with a challenge rating as high as 2. You ignore the Max. CR column of the Beast Shapes table, but must abide by the other limitations there.

Pack Master

At 14th level, you and your bonded spirit have grown so close that the spirit can truly meld with your druidic magic. While your bonded spirit is active as an action you, can expend a spell slot to cause your bonded spirit to duplicate itself a number of times equal to the level of the spell slot expended for this feature. Each copy has 1 hit point and can immediately move and take the attack action ignoring multiattack for this action. The copies disappear at the end of your turn.
