Monastic Tradition
Way of Ten Thousand Hands
Monks of The Way of Ten Thousand Hands have an unorthodox philosophy: it is their sacred duty to elevate their imperfect forms to rival the strength of the ancients using the art of fleshcraft. They often worship gods of endurance, suffering, and hardship, and decorate their bodies with tattoos, piercings, and ritual scarification to show their piety. They are usually of peaceful character, but when they see fit to show their prowess, they are unparalleled in hand to hand combat and completely without mercy.
Way of Ten Thousand Hands Features
Monk Level | Features |
---|---|
3rd | Fleshcraft, Thousand Hands |
6th | Deflect Blows, Thousand Faces |
11th | Strength of the Ancients |
17th | Ten Thousand Hands |
Fleshcraft
At 3rd level, you gain proficiency with the Medicine skill and Herbalism Kits if you don't already have it. Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any check you make that uses these proficiencies.
Thousand Hands
Also at 3rd level, you create a pair of additional arms, which function like your original arms.
Once per turn, you can make the Bonus Action unarmed strike from your Martial Arts feature or use your Flurry of Blows Ki ability as part of the Attack action, instead of as a bonus action. You cannot make an attack using a bonus action on the same turn that you do this.
Deflect Blows
At 6th level, you can use your Deflect Missiles feature on melee weapon attacks. When you use it in this way and you reduce the damage to 0, you can immediately make one unarmed strike as part of the same reaction.
Unrelenting
At 11th level, when you hit a creature with four consecutive unarmed strikes on your turn, you can immediately make one additional unarmed strike that benefits from your Stunning Strike feature, no action or ki required.
Master Fleshcrafter
Also at 11th level, you can cast the spell Alter Self over the course of 1 hours, choosing any or all of the options. For you, the spell's duration is 'until dispelled,' and it does not require concentration.
Ten Thousand Hands
At 17th level, your transformation is complete. You gain two additional arms, to a total of six.
Additionally, Flurry of Blows now costs no ki for you.
