Miqo'te

The Miqo’te are easily distinguishable from their full blooded counterpart by their large, projecting ears and restless, feline tails. The ancestors of this line were originally Tabaxi who ended up mating with the humans of Helvetica in the final days of the calamity. Miqo'te have a drive to explore as they have the curiosity of a cat. Many of the ancestors of the Miqo'te of the current era made their way across the lands of Helvetica through jungles to deserts, even traversing frozen seas in pursuit of a climate that would suit them just right.

Funnily enough their journey lead them to the homeland of the Tabaxi on the continent of Califae. Here the Bohne Monarchy, home of the Animal-Folk resided in which the Miqo'te now make up a fair portion of the population of.


A Cats Tale

Although they have Tabaxi blood in their veins it is mostly recessive in comparison to their more dominate human genes and as such they are more accepted by Humans than Tabaxi, however much like Tabaxi they tend to be a lot more chaotic which tends to get them in trouble with Humans.






















Miqo'te Traits

Miqo'te are a result of contact between Humans and Tabaxi. They appear mostly Human, with a few cat-like traits, such as ears, tails, and fangs.

  • Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 2, and one other ability scores of your choice increase by 1.

  • Age. Miqo'te age at about the same rate as Humans.

  • Alignment. Miqo'te tend towards chaos similarly to Tabaxi, but have no strong tendency towards good or evil.

  • Size. Miqo'te are very similar in size to Humans, if not a bit slimmer. Your size is Medium

  • Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

  • Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

  • Feline Agility. Your reflexes and agility allow you to move with a burst of speed. When you move on your tum in combat, you can double your speed until the end of the turn. Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you move 0 feet on one of your turns.

  • The Worlds Your Oyster. You're fascinated by the world and eager to explore and learn as much as you can. You gain proficiency with the Perception skill, and one skill of your choice.

  • Curiousity Killed The Cat. You have a hard time not fussing over things you don't understand. You gain advantage on Investigation checks that are related to the gathering of information about people, places or objects.

  • Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.
