# Martial Archetype: ## Survivalist The survivalist fighter is someone who excels at adapting to various unexpected circumstances while keeping themselves alive. These individuals may have lived in the wilderness for some amount of time, lived in poverty, or had other circumstances that has led to them learning survival skills. Regardless, survivalists tend to be resourceful individuals whose pratical skills are welcome in a variety of places. #### Bonus Proficiency When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in one of the following skills of your choice: Animal Handling, Nature, Perception, or Survival. Alternatively, you learn one language of your choice. #### Steely Resolve Starting at 3rd level, you have gained the ability to push onwards in the face of adversity. As a bonus action, you may harden your resolve and gain 1d4 temporary hit points that last until the start of your next turn. The amount of temporary hit points gained increases as you gain levels in this class as shown by the Resolve Die Table. In addition, at 10th level, you may also use this feature with no action required as part of using the Second Wind feature. ##### Resolve Die Table | Fighter Level | Resolve Die | |:---:|:---:| | 3rd | 1d4 | | 7th | 1d6 || | 10th | 1d8 | | 14th | 1d10 | | 18th | 1d12 | | \columnbreak #### Endurable Starting 7th level, you have advantage on any Constitution saving throws made to go without food or water or made to prevent disease. In addition, when you are reduced to 0 hit points and not killed outright, you may go back up to 1 hit point and gain a number of temporary hit points equal to your fighter level plus your Constitution modifier (minimum of one). Once you use this feature, you can not use it again until you finish a long rest. #### Scrappy Starting at 10th level, your sharp wits and unnatural quickness has begun to give you an edge in combat. You have advantage on the first weapon attack you make each turn. #### Hearty Body Starting at 14th level, you body has become accustomed to wear and tear and can now recover from tiredness and injuries faster than most. For each hit die spent when you finish a short rest, you regain an additional number of hit points equal to half your proficiency bonus. In addition, when you finish a short rest, you may reduce your exhaustion level by 1. You may reduce your exhaustion level once this way, before you need to finish a long rest to do so again. #### Unmatched Endurance Starting at 18th level, have you harness your inner strength and endurance to renew your vigor. As an action, you may regain all expended uses of the Action Surge, Second Wind, and Indomitable features. Once you use this feature, you can not use it again until you finish a long rest.
