<font color="red"> ## Martial Archetype: Berserker </font> <font color="red"> ***Clad in gore-smeared full plate, the mercenary single-handedly carved a swath through the enemy with his hulking greatsword.*** <div style='margin-top:10px;'></div> ***Leaping from the shadows with a fierce cry, the hafling freedom fighter landed on the back of the giant, where she planted dagger after dagger.*** <div style='margin-top:10px;'></div> ***Laughing as madness took him, the dwarf dispatched two goblins with handaxes before charging their chieftain with his maul.*** <div style='margin-top:10px;'></div Berserkers are ferocious fighters who give no quarter. Whether their anger manifests as cold rage or screaming wrath, they are a force to be reckoned with on their home, the battlefield. <font color="red"> ### Battleborn </font> At 3rd level, your thirst for combat is insatiable. You have advantage on initiative rolls and can draw up to two weapons when you roll initiative. \columnbreak <font color="red"> ### Berserk </font> Starting at 3rd level, you can enter into a state of heightened fury. On your turn, you can go berserk as long as you are not incapacitated (no action required). While berserk, you gain the following benefits: <div style='margin-top:10px;'></div> - You have advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws. - When you hit with a melee weapon attack or a thrown weapon, you gain a bonus to the damage roll equal to half your proficiency bonus rounded up. - When you take damage, the total is reduced by half your proficiency bonus rounded up. - When you engage in two-weapon fighting, you can make your attack with your off-hand weapon as part of the Attack action rather than as a bonus action. <div style='margin-top:10px;'></div> If you are able to cast spells, you can't cast them or concentrate on them while berserk. <div style='margin-top:10px;'></div> Your berserk state lasts for 1 minute. It ends early if you are knocked unconscious. Choose one of the following options. <div style='margin-top:10px;'></div> ***Brutish Presence.*** Even your kind words carry a hint of menance, and your hulking form makes you seem like an unlikely liar. You gain proficiency in Charisma saving throws. When you make a Charisma check, you gain a bonus equal to half your Strength modifier rounded up. <div style='margin-top:10px;'></div> ***Furious Will.*** Your mind is iron. You gain proficiency in Wisdom saving throws. When you make an Intimidation check, roll a d4 and add the number rolled to the result. <div style='margin-top:10px;'></div> ***Lightning Reflexes.*** Combat is your favorite dance. You gain proficiency in Dexterity saving throws. When you make a Dexterity (Acrobatics) check, roll a d4 and add the number rolled to the result. <div style='margin-top:10px;'></div> ***Terminator.*** You are a methodical, logical, and remorseless killer whose berserk state manifests as an absence of emotion. You gain proficiency in Intelligence saving throws. When you make a Charisma check, you gain a bonus equal to your Intelligence modifier. ### <font color="red">Herald of Strife</font> <font color="red">Beginning at 10th level, you can use your Berserk feature twice between rests. In addition, choose one of the following options. It applies when you are berserk.</font> <div style='margin-top:10px;'></div> <font color="red"> ***Blitzkrieger.*** Your wrath quickens you. Your movement speed increases by 5 feet.</font> <div style='margin-top:10px;'></div> <font color="red"> ***Butcher.*** Few can slice and dice like you. When you make an opportunity attack while dual wielding, you can make a second attack against the target as if you were engaging in two-weapon fighting. <div style='margin-top:10px;'></div> <font color="red">***Immortal.*** You are exceptionally hard to kill. Your berserk state does not end when you are knocked unconscious, and when you make a death saving throw, roll a d4 and add the number rolled to the result.</font> <div style='margin-top:10px;'></div> <font color="red">***Wrecking Ball.*** You leave destruction in your wake. Your Strength-based attacks deal double damage to objects and structures and deal an additional weapon damage die when you score a critical hit against a construct.</font> ### <font color="red">Rampage</font> <font color="red">Starting at 15th level, killing fuels your fervor. Once per round while berserk, when you reduce a creature to 0 hit points with a melee weapon attack or a thrown weapon, you can make at advantage an additional melee weapon attack or attack with a thrown weapon. On your turn while berserk, until the start of your next turn, you can remove the once per round limit on using Rampage and make it so your melee weapon attacks and attacks with thrown weapons score a critical hit on a roll of 19-20 (no action required). <div style='margin-top:10px;'></div> Once you use this feature, you must finish a long rest before you can use it again. </font>
