## Roguish Archetype: Poisoner ### Toxic Brewer Your knowledge of the alchemical arts may have once lead you to a life of potion making and medicine, but now you have followed down the path of death, the path of poison. You now seek to worsen the fates of those who would face you, rewarding them with an agonizing death by your hands, whether that be by your blade, or by your concoctions. ##### Poisoner Features | Rogue Level | Feature | |:--:|:-----------------:| |3rd| Bonus Proficiency, Brew Poison | |9th| Poison of Life | |13th| Poisoned Body, Additional Poison Recipe | |17th| Poison Mastery, Additional Poison Recipe | #### Bonus Proficiency When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with the poisoner's kit. #### Brew Poison At 3rd level, you learn to create deadly substances to cause harm to your foes. When you gain this feature you learn two poison recipes of your choice (See "Poisoner's Cookbook" Below). The creation of poison requires technique, due to this you may spend a portion of your resting time dedicated to this task. You may brew any combination of poison you know after completing a long rest. You may only have enough vials of poison on brewed at one time equal to your rogue level rounded down. When using poison in combat, one may use their bonus action to consume a vial of poison to coat their weapon with it, giving their next attack a chance to inflict the poisons effect. However, you must know your natural adversaries, those of the undead and construct. Any creature of this type aren't affected by your poison unless otherwise stated. Additionally, you learn new poison recipes of your choice whenever you gain certain levels in this class: 13th, 17th. #### Poison of Life At 9th level you learn the Poison of Life, Through experimentation with the essence of vitality you have learned to create The Poison of Life. While some may feel safety when interacting with alchemical agents of life, you know that too much of a good thing can be the downfall of anyone. Experimentation has led you far from you normal techniques of brewing, as such this poison is separate from those related to the "Brew Poison" ability. You can brew one vial of this poison per short rest. However, the potency of this brew is unstable, meaning this poison will lose its effects twelve hours after its creation. \columnbreak

Any target afflicted with this poison must make a Constitution saving throw against your poison save DC. Upon failure the life essence housed within the poison will run rampant causing tumors to grow on the targets body to the point of bursting, causing 8d6 poison damage upon explosion. However, on the chance the affected target succeeds their saving saving throw, their body will absorb the benefits of the poison, gaining 4d4+2 hit points. Additionally, due to the life energy it has been infused with, this poison is especially effective against those of undead bodies. As such undead have disadvantage against the Constitution saving throw relating this poison, in addition to their immunity to poison damage being bypassed. #### Poisoned Body At 13th level you have found a way to infuse the poison you work with into your own body and bloodstream causing those who dare spill your blood harm. Whenever you take damage from a melee attack the attacker is dealt acid damage equal to your constitution modifier (minimum 1). #### Poison Mastery At 17th level your knowledge of poison making and your bodily experimentations have bared fruit, you have achieved the body of the Master Poisoner. As a result you gain * Immunity to the poisoned status effect. * Advantage on saving throws regarding poison. * Resistance to poison damage. \pagebreak
