Any creature within 30' must make a DC 12 roll or become frightened of the Ghast. It can do this once, each time its HP drops below half. > > ### Reactions > ***Deathly Embrace*** If a creature provokes an opportunity attack from the Ghast, the Ghast can attempt to grapple the creature with an Athletics check of +6. If it succeeds, the creature takes 1d8 bludgeoning damage and 2d8+16 psychic damage, due to the terrifying experience. The creature must succeed on a DC 15 Athletics or Acrobatics check at the start of the creature's subsequent turns or remain grappled and continue to take the damage rolls above.
