Half-Ghost

Born dead but kept alive through means of Necromancy has left you somewhat detached from your body, as the methods used left part of your soul detched from your physical vessel, however to hold your mental state together the ghost has been attached to your physical vessel. Living half a life can be disturbing to some especially those who have reason to fear undead or ghosts

Half-Ghost Traits

Your dwarf character has an assortment of inborn abilities, part and parcel of dwarven nature.

Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 2, Your Agility score increases by 1

Age. Half-Ghosts mature at the same rate as their original species but live half the life, only able to prolong their life span by means of earning or stealing life-force.

Alignment. Half-Ghosts vary in nature, some humbled by being saved, some driven to madness and chaos, and some tend to live quite normal, but likely short, lives.

Size. Half Ghosts tend to be medium creatures, as necromancy of this type only seems to work on humanoids, although there has been rumors of Halfling and Goblins saved through this method.

Spells from the Grave. You know the Sapping Sting cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the False Life spell as a 2nd-level spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. When you reach 5th level, you can cast the Vampiric Touch spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Constitution is your spellcasting ability for these spells.

Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language.

Ghostly companion

As a Half-Ghost you are made out of two bodies, one physical, one incorporeal, this incorporeal body linked to yours, unable to go over 300 feet from you.

Size. your ghost half tends to vary in shape and size depending on how much of your soul was detached, ranging from a replica of you to an orb, however they are always of small size

Speed. Your Ghost-Half has a flying speed of 40, and cannot walk, their fly speed also acts as their swim speed

Action of the soul You can instead of using an action or bonus action youself, give your Ghost Half the acition, able to cast spells run, and make unarmed attacks that does 1+2(Consitution Bonus) Damage as well as make any bonus action

Focused Soul When within 5ft of your Ghostly Companion, you can use them as a spellcasting focus, or Holy symbol

Ethereal vision While being a ghost has it's benefits having 30ft of Darkvision, your ghost orb can only see 30ft, but can use your line of sight to target ranged spells, as you can use what your ghostly companion sees to target ranged attacks.

Undead Ethereal Your ghostly companion can be targeted, and any damage done to them is directly done to you, if you reach 0 hitpoints your ghostly companion disappears for a fraction of a second, reappearing on top of your unconscious body. When being attacked through your ghost orb Necrotic Damage heals you, However when your ghostly companion is attacked you are classified as Vulnerable to Radiant Damage making you an easy target for any form of Celestial or Priesthood who may see you as an abomination

Languages. Your Ghost half, while unable to speak common tongues, is able to speak Abyssal and Primordial
