### Rogue Archetype: Star Thief Most rogues prefer to stick to the shadows and keep themselves well hidden while they work. But there are a rare few that prefer to stand in the spotlight and operate with a flashy and effective finesse. These rogues are known as Star Thieves. These starlit sneaks make use of a minimal amount of light magic and speed to get the job done. #### Star Thief Casting Some of your features as a Star Thief have spell like effects. You use your Intelligence whenever a feature or spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Intelligence modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a Star Thief feature or spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one.
Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence modifier
Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence modifier
#### Star Light Touch *3rd level Star Thief feature*
You learn the Light cantrip. As an action you can cause an object you've used the Light cantrip on to release a blinding flash of light. All creatures in a 10ft. radius of the object that can see is must make a Constitution saving throw against your Spell save DC. On a failure the creatures are blinded for 1 minute. On a success, the creature is unaffected. You are not effected by the flash of light. Beginning at the 13th level, when you make a Sneak Attack with a weapon you've used the Light cantrip on, your attack does bonus radiant damage equal to your Intelligence modifier. #### Gravity Thief *3rd level Star Thief feature*
You've learned to use your limited magics to manipulate gravity. You learn the Feather Fall, Jump and Longstrider spells. You may cast these spells a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. Your ability to cast these spells refreshes when you complete a long rest. #### Warp Drive *9th level Star Thief feature*
As an action, you release a burst of light from your body and instantaneously travel a maximum distance of 5ft. per rogue level. You may travel over gaps in the ground, but cannot scale walls or travel through creatures or objects using Warp Drive. #### Astral Adept *13th level Star Thief feature*
Your mastery of astral magicks has improved, granted you further magic spells you may cast. You learn the Levitate, Invisibility and Misty Step spells. You may cast these spells a number of times equal to half your proficiency bonus, rounded up. Your ability to cast these spells refreshes when you complete a long rest. #### The Shooting Star *17th level Star Thief feature*
When you roll initiative, you may add your proficiency bonus to your roll. Additionally, when you roll for initiative, you may cast the Haste spell on yourself. You may cast Haste on yourself in this way a number of times equal to half your proficiency bonus.
