Archaeologist
Uncovering hidden secrets lost to time, studying the tools and artifacts of civilisations past. Archaeologist seek to understand and learn from the past; what stories they told, what secrets they kept, and what power they coveted.
As an Archaeologist you are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to uncover theses mysteries, and no ghoul, goblin, or other tomb squatting fiend will stop your pursuit for answers.
Archaeologist Magic
3rd-level Archaeologist feature
You learn an additional spell when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown in the Archaeologist Spells table. Each spell counts as a ranger spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of ranger spells you know.

Appraisal
3rd-level Archaeologist feature
You gain proficiency in History. Whenever you make an Intelligence (History) check related to an artifact or magical object, double your proficiency bonus to the check as if you had expertise.
Additionally, you learn the Identify spell which can be cast as a ritual.
Tomb Raider
3rd-level Archaeologist feature
You are experienced in delving into tombs and dungeons. You gain the following benefits;

You can add your Wisdom modifier to any Intelligence (Investigation) check.

If your size is medium, you can move through spaces as if you were small.

You gain darkvision out to a range of 60 feet. Additionally, you can discern colour while in darkness.

Once per turn, when you hit a creature with a weapon attack you deal an extra 1d8 damage. The extra damage increases to 2d8 when you reach 11th level.
Ancient Power
7th-level Archaeologist feature
You have a greater understanding of magical artifacts and know how to release their power with ease. When a magical item requires the use of an action to activate, you can use your bonus action to activate the item instead.
Magical Items can only be used once per turn.
Forgotten Tongue
11th-level Archaeologist feature
Your study of history has allowed you to uncover and learn dead languages. You can speak, read, and understand all languages.
Personal Collection
15th-level Archaeologist feature
Your research of ancient artifacts has provided you with the knowledge needed to unlock their power. You ignore all class, race, and level requirements on attuning to or using a magic item.
Additionally, you can attune four magic items at one time.
