Assassin
You focus your training on the grim art of death. Those who adhere to this trade are diverse: hired killers, spies, bounty hunters, and even specially anointed priests trained to exterminate the enemies of their deity. Stealth, poison, and disguise help you eliminate your foes with deadly efficiency.
Assassin's Mark
3rd-level Assassin feature
Your training in the art of a swift death allows you to hone your focus and mark a target for death. When you roll initiative, you can choose one creature to mark. You can also mark a creature by studying it for 1 minute.
For up to 1 hour with concentration (as if you were concentrating on a spell), you know the target's current hit points and you have advantage on skill checks made to find it.
You can only have a single creature marked with your Assassin's mark at a time.
Additionally, when you hit a creature marked by your Assassin's Mark with a Sneak Attack, your Sneak Attack dice become d8s.
Tools of the Trade
3rd-level Assassin feature
You have trained in more than just bloodshed and butchery. You gain proficiency with the disguise kit and poisoner's kit and your proficiency bonus is doubled for any checks you make using those kits.
You have also been taught how to rapidly apply a basic disguise. You can use the bonus action granted by your Cunning Action to apply a disguise that you prepared in advance.
Immaculate Infiltrator
9th-level Assassin feature
You are relentless in finding ways to approach your target, searching out any alternate pathway you can. You gain a climbing speed equal to your movement speed and when you make a running jump, the distance you cover increases by a number of feet equal to your Dexterity modifier.
Additionally, you have advantage on skill checks made to detect the presence of secret doors, rooms, and passages.
Fade From Sight
13th-level Assassin feature
You have learned to smother any personality and idiosyncrasies that you normally exhibit, allowing you to become a faceless blur in the memories around you. You learn the disguise self spell and you can cast it at will.
You also learn the pass without trace spell. You can cast it without providing material components or expending a spell slot a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier (minimum of once) and regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Death Strike
17th-level Assassin feature
You become but a disembodied knife in the dark, a master of instant death. After you hit a creature marked by your Assassin's Mark with a Sneak Attack, it must make a Constitution saving throw with a save DC equal to 10 or half the damage rolled, whichever is higher. On a failed save, it is instantly killed.
Additionally, your Sneak Attack dice become d10s when you hit a creature marked by your Assassin's Mark.
