The Darkwraith

Darkwraith

When the Four Kings fell to Dark, tempted by the art of Lifedrain, so too did their knights. Their armour now twisted by the Abyss, the Darkwraiths are considered to be the enemy of man, and any living thing with a soul. The entire city of New Londo was sacrificed and flooded to contain them, for that is how a great a threat they were.

To this day, some view them as freedom fighters, or even defenders of the human race, but they might also represent evil Humanity. They were never meant to roam again. Until now...

Dark Hand

3rd-level Darkwraith feature

You can channel dark energy to an empty hand as a bonus action, allowing you to create the Dark Hand. While Dark Hand is active, you cannot hold equipment with the hand being used. For the next minute, the following abilities are available to you.

Drain. If you grapple a creature while Dark Hand is active, they must make a Constitution saving throw (Save DC is 8 + your Charisma modifier + your proficiency bonus). On a failed save, the creature takes necrotic damage by an amount based on your level in this class, as shown on the Dark Hand Damage table. Additionally, you gain temporary hit points equal to the damage dealt by this ability. If a creature loses health in this way, the creature is immune to this ability for the next 24 hours.
