Roguish Archetypes
Brigand
Roaming the land in gangs, ambushing unsuspecting travellers. Brigands use cheap and dishonourable tactics to get the upper hand against their opponents. Using heavier armour and weapons than a normal rogue, brigands focus on using strength, instead of cunning, to get the upper hand.
Soldiery
3rd-level Brigand feature
You gain proficiency with martial weapons, medium armor, and shields.
Furthermore, armor no longer imposes disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks and your Sneak Attack feature is now compatible with all weaponry, including unarmed.
Cheap Tactics
3rd-level Brigand feature
In combat, you can leverage your strength to get an advantage against your opponent. You can take the Shoving A Creature action as a bonus action.
Additionally, you excel at attacking weakened targets. When you attack a blinded, frightened, petrified, poisoned, prone, restrained or stunned creature, your weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20.
Into the Fray
9th-level Brigand feature
In the heat of battle you can bolster your resolve. As a bonus action, you gain a number of temporary hit points equal to 5 x your Constitution modifier.
Once you use this feature, you must finish a short or long rest before you can use it again.
Band of Brigands
13th-level Brigand feature
You can give yourself and any allied creatures within 30ft of you a bonus to initiative rolls equal to half your proficiency bonus (rounded down).
Malice
17th-level Brigand feature
When you attack a blinded, frightened, petrified, poisoned, prone, restrained or stunned creature, your weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 18, 19 or 20.
