#### Arc Strike *Evocation cantrip* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** Self - **Components:** S, M (a melee weapon worth at least 1 sp) - **Duration:** Instantaneous - **Classes:** Artificer, Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard ___ You brandish the weapon used in the spell’s casting and make a melee attack with it against one creature within 5 feet of you. On a hit, the target suffers the weapon attack’s normal effects, and you can cause a bolt of lightning to arc from the target to a different creature of your choice that you can see within 10 feet of it. The second creature takes lightning damage equal to your spellcasting ability modifier. This spell’s damage increases when you reach certain levels. At 5th level, the melee attack deals an extra 1d6 lightning damage to the target on a hit, and the lightning damage to the second creature increases to 1d6 + your spellcasting ability modifier. Both damage rolls increase by 1d6 at 11th level (2d6 and 2d6) and 17th level (3d6 and 3d6). #### Arc Strike (Alternate) *Evocation cantrip* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** Self - **Components:** S, M (a melee weapon worth at least 1 sp) - **Duration:** Instantaneous - **Classes:** Artificer, Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard ___ You brandish the weapon used in the spell’s casting and make a melee attack with it against one creature within 5 feet of you. On a hit, the target suffers the weapon attack’s normal effects and also takes lightning damage equal to your spellcasting ability modifier. When you reach certain levels, on a hit, you can cause arcs of lightning to jump from the target to other creatures nearby. At 5th level, you create up to 2 arcs; at 11th level, up to 4 arcs; at 17th level, up to 6 arcs. The target of the first arc must be the creature you hit with your attack. The target of each subsequent arc must be a creature within 15 feet of a creature targeted by a different arc. A creature can be targeted with at most one arc, and each arc deals 1d10 lightning damage to the creature it targets. \columnbreak
