# Fey-Masked Rogue Fey folk are never exactly who they appear to be. And in no one is this more true than the Fey-Masked trickster. This trickster can slip a disguise on or off without a second thought. With more advanced magicks, their glamour becomes akin to that of a chameleon, able to hide in plain sight. ## Masked Self #### 3rd-level Rogue feature You learn the spell Disguise Self. You can cast it at-will. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for this spell. For you, the spell requires no verbal component. If you are a small or medium sized creature when you cast the spell, you can take the guise of any small or medium sized humanoid. You must follow all other restrictions and requirements of the spell. ## Chameleon #### 3rd-level Rogue feature Whenever you cast Disguise Self, you can choose to imbue it with a dynamic magic that causes your form to subtly change colours in order to blend into the background. You can use this ability to hide in group or crowds - While Chameleon is active, you can take the Hide action while there are at least three other small or medium sized humanoid creatures within 30ft of you, without requiring any additional obscurement from the viewer. When you are hidden in Chameleon form, creatures have disadvantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks based on sight to reveal you. This feature does not work on creatures that have blindsight, tremorsense, or truesight (or other senses to detect illusions), while you are within range of those senses. ## Going Native #### 9th-level Rogue feature You learn to strengthen your disguise with more potent fey magic. When you cast Disguise Self, the duration is changed from "1 Hour" to "Until dispelled". Additionally, the illusion of your Disguise Self is reinforced with enchanment magic. A creature that perceives your illusion from a distance ignores any oddities with how the illusion interacts with objects or creatures around it (such as a floating book or a backpack that juts out from the flesh). When a creature uses its action to inspect your appearance it automatically fails on any checks to reveal the illusion unless the creature is within 5ft of you.
\pagebreak This enchanment is strong enough to fool even advanced senses. Creatures with blindsight, tremorsense, or truesight (or other senses to automatically detect illusions) of 30ft or more can automatically sense your true form only if you are within 30ft of them. While you are more than 30ft away from them, you can use your Chameleon feature against any such creatures. ## Perfect Camouflage #### 13th-level Rogue feature You no longer need other creatures to be around you to Hide in plain sight while Chameleon is active. While hidden this way, Wisdom (Perception) checks made using sight always fail to reveal you. ## Opportune Strike #### 17th-level Rogue feature When you deal Sneak Attack damage to a creature that you were hidden from, you can increase the Sneak Attack damage by 3d6. If you are under an active Disguise Self spell effect when this attack hits, you can choose to immediately end the spell on yourself and increase the Sneak Attack damage by another 3d6.
