Roguish Archetype: The Ronin
You are a masterful warrior that has fallen from grace, either due to your own acts, those of your master, or some other circumstances altogether. Most ronins are forced to live on the road, where they use their skills to fend for themselves and earn money. Even though they are often considered equal with thieves and other criminals, they usually retain some sense of honor, adapted as it may be to the harsh realities of their life.
Martial Training
Even though you fell from grace, you retain your warrior's skills. When you pick this archetype at level 3, you gain proficiency with martial weapons and medium armor. Any melee weapon without the Heavy property has the Finesse property for you. If your Strength score is at least 13, it can also have the Heavy property.
You may also draw a weapon as part of an attack you make with it.
Dirty Trick
Also at level 3, you learn to use dirty tricks, such as throwing sand in your enemies' eyes, that let you get ahead in a fight. You can use your bonus action to gain advantage on a melee weapon attack. You regain the ability to do so when you roll initiative, or when you use your bonus action to survey and analyze your enemies.
Vagabond's Resilience
At level 9, you have become accustomed to enduring hardships. When you are subjected to an effect that allows you to make a Strength or Constitution saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw, and only half damage if you fail.
You have also become adept at traveling both long and short distances. You have advantage on Constitution saving throws to avoid Exhaustion, and your walking speed increases by 10 feet.
Quick Draw
As a travelling warrior, you have learned to always be prepared to face danger. Starting at level 13, You have advantage on initiative rolls. If you are surprised, you may choose to roll initiative with disadvantage (which may not be removed by advantage) but not be surprised.
Moreover, when you're prone, you can stand up by spending 5 feet of movement, rather than half your speed.
Unerring Accuracy
At 17th level, your mastery of weapons grants you extraordinary accuracy. If you miss with an attack roll using a Finesse weapon on your turn, you can reroll it. You can use this feature only once on each of your turns.
