This quarterstaff seemingly radiates dancing shadows, almost as if reaching to find it's targets no matter the cost.
This Quarterstaff has a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon, and has a save DC of 16.
When the wielder of this quarterstaff attunes to it, they find that it has 10 charges for the abilities listed below. The quarterstaff regains 1d6 charges at dawn, if a creature is killed by this quarterstaff then it regains 1 charge.
Extend: As a bonus action you spend 1 charge to extend the length of your quarterstaff to 10 feet with shadows for 2 minutes, if an enemy is hit by the extended part of the quarterstaff then they take Psychic damage equal to the quarterstaffs normal damage.
Throw: As an action you spend 1 charge to create a shadow duplicate of the staff, this duplicate goes flying in a spinning motion and flies up to 120 feet in a 5 foot line and comes back, a creature hit by this shadow duplicate must make a wisdom saving throw, on a fail the creature takes psychic damage equal to the quarterstaffs one handed damage, and half as much damage on a success.
Darkness: You expend 2 charges to cast the Darkness spell, when the spell is cast this way you can see through it as if it were dim light.
