Ophanim Aasimar
These aasimar are blessed with the holy power of the Ophanim, the Many Eyed Ones, angelic beings that consists of rotating wheel-like rings covered in eyes that display a divine fiery fury.
Ability Score Increase. Your Wisdom score increases by 1.
Angelic Wheels. Starting at the 3rd level, you can use your action to unleash the divine energy within yourself, causing two incorporeal flaming rings with eyes dotting the outside to summon around yourself, while your eyes burn with divine fury. While you speak in this form, you sound like a choir of voices. The instant you transform and at the beginning of each of your turns while in this form, you can cause a streak of divine radiance to streak at a creature within 30 feet of yourself. A creature targeted with this divine radiance takes radiant damage equal to your wisdom modifier and an additional 1d8 fire damage.
- This transformation lasts for one minute or until you end it as a bonus action. During this time, you have advantage on intimidation checks and once on each of your turns, you can deal extra radiant damage to one target when you deal damage to it with an attack or a spell. The extra radiant damage equals your level.
- Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
Draconic Aasimar
These aasimar fought as the champions of the dragon gods like Bahamut, and as such, are not limited to having descended from humans and can also come about as a result of dragonborn. However, this new light still eliminates a good deal of their former selves and ascends them to an angelic being nonetheless.
Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 1.
Draconic Form. Starting at 3rd level, you can use your action to unleash the divine energy within yourself, causing yourself to be flooded with draconic power, and causing your eyes to glimmer and two luminous, incorporeal wings to sprout from your back.
- Your transformation lasts for 1 minute or until you end it as a bonus action. During it, you have a flying speed of 30 feet.
- Additionally, when transformed, you can use your action to exhale destructive radiant energy to blow away your enemies. When you use your breath weapon, all creatures in a 15 foot cone must make a Constitution saving throw. The DC of this saving throw is 8 + your Charisma modifier + your proficiency bonus. A creature takes 2d6 radiant damage on a failed save, and half as much damage on a successful one. The damage increase to 3d6 at 10th level and 4d6 at 17th level.
- Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
