Adamaia, Mateo and Thatcher each venture to the small mining town of Phadalin at the request of their father. Dragon and orc raids sightings are increasing. While waiting on their father's arrival, the party graciously offers to lend the town their services... for a price. Always a price.

The party hears a townsperson's story about a bard who was snatched and taken away by the dragon. Bragging about keeping the bard's gear, the party investigates, but not before dubbing their merry group, "Snap's Bastards".

The town needs help, their father is missing and it's rumored the mayor enjoys... carrot soup?
