Sacred Oath

Oath of Revelry

The oath of revelry is for those paladins who seek to bring joy and freedom to all people. Those who have chosen this path are the center of attention and bring pleasure and celebration to the masses.

Tenants of Revelry

Be the life of the party. Life is best when celebrating with friends. Make all who you cross paths with your friend.

Dance merily for you may die tomorrow. Each day may be ones last so make the most of today and help others make today matter.

Indulge for the gods are watching. All things in creation are for the people to enjoy. Hold no prejudice against substance or man.

Oath Spells

At 3rd level, when you reach certain levels in this class, you gain access to the spells listed for that level in the Revelry Spells table.

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.

Rhythmic Fever. As an action, you begin to allow divine spirits to move your body in a holy dance. For the next 10 minutes, while not wearing heavy armour and not using a shield your AC becomes equal to 13 plus your Charisma modifier and your movement speed increases by 10ft.

Holy Wine. Over the course of 10 minutes, you can summon a decanter of wine from the heavens itself. You and up to 4 other creatures can drink this holy liquid, each creature has advantage on the next saving throw it makes, resistance to poison damage and advantage on saving throws against being poisoned before it takes its next long rest, after which the effects of the wine wear off. When you take a short rest. The wine becomes non-magical after 24 hours.

Aura of Distraction

At 7th level, you exude an aura of brilliant light and sound 15ft around you while conscious. When a creature makes a weapon attack against a target other than yourself within your aura have disadvantage. At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30ft.

Inspiring Dancer

At 15th level, you can cast Otto's irresistible dance once per long rest. Additionally, when an ally within 30ft of you that you can see makes an attack roll or saving throw with disadvantage you can as a reaction boost their morale with your irresistible wiles. That attack or saving throw is made with advantage instead.

Courting the Goddess

At 20th level, as an action, you begin to radiate an enthralling glow and music can be heard by all who can see your magnificence. You gain the following benefits for 1 minute.

  • Creatures have disadvantage on saving throws against your enchantment spells and saving throws against being charmed.
  • You have resistance to all damage types from creatures who are attacking you from within your aura.
  • Allies inside of your aura regain the maximum number of hit points possible from any healing spell.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
